It offers more opportunities and choices for anti-CC. The relatively low cost and field effect make it easy to be used in various decks. In terms of usage, I admit that it is no different from cloak. Really ? In fact the original concept is cooler : allows you to imprison target player's creatures for a duration of time. But that would make it OP, especially when we already have dim. shield in

I like it because of the theme and how it's implemented. The original concept as well, now that you've told me.

Very nice. This beats cloak in protecting creatures because it resists mass CC, and using this = no weakness to CC in a SoP stall.

But cloak offers protection to your SoP as well.

Well....I don't know what to say....

I'm truly surprised to learn that people like this card. In fact I was expecting criticism like "this card is a worse version of cloak", "we don't another cloak".

Now we have to consider the balance issue of this card. Who thinks there should be a cost change to it ? And who thinks that I should add a cost for its removal ?

This is a great stall card while being a great counter against SoSa.
In SNbow, this can provide a neat early protection while setting up.
I think the cost is fine as it.

Protect all the Otys...  I guess creatures will undergo a delay effect like with SoPa, so abilities can still be used?

I think Sundial effect(= no effect) will be better. Abilities should still can be used I guess
