ART: funerallaughter IDEA: Zblader NOTES: When played, Dichromatic Butterfly will have 2 | 3 element icons appear under it to indicate which pools it is currently targeting. These elements will shift accordingly if your highest quantum pools change, so spend carefully so you don't generate quantum for the wrong elements. If there is a tie between the highest pools of quantum (e.g. 5  6  6  6 ), the Butterlfy won't generate anything. This is to avoid potential abuse with Nova decks. If 0 quantum pools end up as the 'highest' values, the butterfly will not target those pools. (In other words, if you're running a mono, this will only generate 1 quanta per turn unless a Discord comes into play.) Only your quantum pools are targeted. SERIES:

How would this fit into a novabow using QTs as its main resource? You get about 2-3 each turn for an initial investment of 5 as well as a 1|1 creature. When making Stolas, I can tell "other" creatures get a lot of hate and are hard to balance.

It's meant to work best with Duo and Trios - as far as I see, Quantum Pillars/Towers randomize the generation so much that butterflies will end up just being another QT, except in creature form and 5 more expensive.

When making Stolas, I can tell "other" creatures get a lot of hate and are hard to balance.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on the difficulties. (Another Example) The best we have so far in terms of a balance formula is Other = 1.5 + 1.5[Theoretical Elemental Cost] by OldTrees, developed during the Void Series's run (and to top things off, Void used a different formula entirely IIRC).

Weaker/cheaper Other creatures are generally easier to balance as QT/Fractal is a less significant problem in most of these cases.

I like this idea. It makes duo decks | trio decks much more desirable.

Very cool... would also make a good pillar i think.
Its twin should be made too, which targets the two lowest non-zero pools... if that can be fit onto the card at least.

A double|triple pillar creature for duo|trio decks. The automatic targeting system avoids the multitargeting.

According to the text, this can work against you by giving the opponent quanta.

I think if there is a tie among highest quanta pools, it should generate 2/3 randomly among those tied.

And I think quanta pools with 0 should still be possible to generate with the Butterfly.
