It's an effective creature stopper. It slowly kills the creature and makes it unusable for 3 turns. Great against creatures with abilities. and it's great for taking out Otys that haven't been immaterialed yet, as this would bring down their health by 3, either killing the Oty or making it next to useless. Outside of a mono or duo death though, it's cost keeps it from being too effective in a rainbow or trio deck for the most part.

Sorry for my stupidity, but poison affects the creature while it is in the bubble, right?

bigbadbanana, yes I would think so

anyone else thinking that the cost is high?
I would reduce the cost of both (unupped and upped) by one
lightning costs 2 or 3 :aether for 5 damage

And I like the combination of stasis and poison

I like it, but I actually think its a bit overpriced; howsabout 5 and 4 :death respectively?  Improved Plague infects all of your opponent's cards for 2 :death, so this shouldn't be too much more.

5/4 sounds better

and muffin -- you're forgetting lightning does instant damage - this takes time and can be 'countered' with blessings/armour (sort of)

I know,

I would still want the cost lower though, 4/3 ? I'm thinking maybe 3/2 :S

any opinions?

But it takes most creatures out without them having any chance of hitting you again.
It is a two in one card.

Can't change it now it's in the crucible/forge or it gets reset :/
but it's good - should be left as it is -- a great hinderance card - stops possible rushes (of some variety) too :)

I like the card, but I think it's a bit expensive...

Wait, you can't change crucible cards?  Isn't that the point of the crucible??  To change cards and make them better as you go?

Kael said somewhere:

"any modifications to the card from now on will cause the vote to be reset because the new card may not be the same as when people voted for it before and they may not like it anymore"

Also I presume if you change it after you get to forge (level 2) then it will go back to smithy (level 0) or crucible (level 1) (although this is just what I feel should happen unless it is specified)

No - the smithy is for basic designs to see if your card is good and works and for people to comment on
once you enter the cruicble you should only make minor adjustments based on people's opinions/comments but nothing major (e.g. changing cost to summon down or up by 1 = minor..... changing ability of card = major)
anything major that changes (in Kael's opinion) he said would reset the vote on that card....

~~EDIT~~
as Deadly Neurotoxin is already at level 2 (Forge) it should be left as it is unless there is an overwhelming need to change it....

Tweaking a price or setting the delay is fine.
Removing the time bubble would be unacceptable.

If you got voted this far then thats what the community wants, why would you change it?
The Forge is the Area where your idea is accepted and should be taking the idea and refining the card to the point that it could simply step into the game. It Should be being balanced with test cases and game analysis, and have discussion overcoming the difficulties of implementing such an idea.

This card is quite simple, it takes 2 mechanics that are already in the game and combines them into a useable control card that answers the shortcomings of both in an element that it suits and could use the effect. If you ar going to to do anything to it, I would suggest some game analysis to show that it is over or under or costed just right. Throwing around opinions without evidence means little at this stage.
