im sorry you feel that way- but this is set up *exactly* like aflatoxin. when the cat is inflicted with aflatoxin, and uses its ability, it does *not* trigger a malignant cell. as such, when a cat is inflicted with corpse explosion, and it uses its ability, it will *not* explode. it would be horribly, horribly misused and abused if the cat could trigger explosions every turn. also, you contradict yourself and your reasoning for not voting for it when you say "oh, it wouldn't trigger on Oty, who, when you think about it, doesn't really [leave] a corpse to explode"
also, "if target creature takes lethal damage" does not fit in with the established diction in the game, "target creature dies" is more concise and in line with what is already established.
