would rather have upped card do 2 damage and still be normal 3 cost. basic form seems almost UP except their is nightfall to make it stronge and actually worthwile. I would use this card if i ran Darkness.

It does seem a bit underwhelming.  Thunderstorm hits every enemy creatures for 1 damage, although you do have to choose when to use it as opposed to this one that you can put out immediately and hope that it hits the right enemy creatures.

The interesting part about this is that the ability seems to be passive... which might mean you could Butterfly Effect it, quint it, and then it's an untouchable destroyer that damages a random opponent creature for 1 a turn.  The only thing that could stop it is if nightfall/eclipse came into play and the opponent had a fire buckler/thorn carpace.  Could replace Devourer as my favorite creature to use BE on.

interesting idea, I think it's balanced. six of these in the deck can be strong ,with fractal it would be devastating.

Fractaled it would be godly :p

Then give all black creatures +2/+1 and a graveyard or two it could make the deck at least somewhat interesting.

I think 2 damage per turn would be too much, especially if you have 2 or more of these out. Remember the upgraded card isn't very expensive, you could get a couple of these out quite early in the game. The idea is a weak, cheap creature with a strong passive ability. Too much stronger and it would be broken if you match it to Fractal. Might consider making the upgraded version 0/2 instead of being 1 :darkness cheaper, but then it might be a bit much with Eclipse.

death/darkness would pwn with this, flood their field with MCs and put out a vulture/condor and 6 of these. Thats +6/+6 for your vulture every turn. OMG I just exposed totally op strategy. I could farm FGs finally! Please can I have, Puhlease?

Perfectly balanced, well thought-out card. I think we can all agree that it should be added to the game immediately. There's really no way it could possibly be abused to farm FGs.

If you consider it OP, kindly provide some constructive criticism on adjusting it.
