would rather have upped card do 2 damage and still be normal 3 cost. basic form seems almost UP except their is nightfall to make it stronge and actually worthwile. I would use this card if i ran Darkness.

It does seem a bit underwhelming.  Thunderstorm hits every enemy creatures for 1 damage, although you do have to choose when to use it as opposed to this one that you can put out immediately and hope that it hits the right enemy creatures.

The interesting part about this is that the ability seems to be passive... which might mean you could Butterfly Effect it, quint it, and then it's an untouchable destroyer that damages a random opponent creature for 1 a turn.  The only thing that could stop it is if nightfall/eclipse came into play and the opponent had a fire buckler/thorn carpace.  Could replace Devourer as my favorite creature to use BE on.

interesting idea, I think it's balanced. six of these in the deck can be strong ,with fractal it would be devastating.

Fractaled it would be godly :p

Then give all black creatures +2/+1 and a graveyard or two it could make the deck at least somewhat interesting.

fractal makes everything kinda "devastating"

I think 2 damage per turn would be too much, especially if you have 2 or more of these out. Remember the upgraded card isn't very expensive, you could get a couple of these out quite early in the game. The idea is a weak, cheap creature with a strong passive ability. Too much stronger and it would be broken if you match it to Fractal. Might consider making the upgraded version 0/2 instead of being 1 :darkness cheaper, but then it might be a bit much with Eclipse.

death/darkness would pwn with this, flood their field with MCs and put out a vulture/condor and 6 of these. Thats +6/+6 for your vulture every turn. OMG I just exposed totally op strategy. I could farm FGs finally! Please can I have, Puhlease?

Perfectly balanced, well thought-out card. I think we can all agree that it should be added to the game immediately. There's really no way it could possibly be abused to farm FGs.

If you consider it OP, kindly provide some constructive criticism on adjusting it.

keeping both costs at 3 but increasing upped to 0/2
this will slow down a fractal somewhat or even make upped 1/2 for 4

Make it do one damage to a random enemy creature every other turn?

Edit: Neeeeevermiiiiiind, feel free to ignore this post.

Card Update:

Change 1: Cards now target creatures on both sides of the field.
Reason: Complaints of OP.

Change 2: Will o' the Wisp now has 0/2 instead of 0/1 and has had its cost increased to 3 :darkness.
Reason: 0/2 grants slightly more survivability at the cost of an additional quanta.

Change 3: Corpse Candle cost decreased to 2 :darkness.
Reason: Change 1 weakened the card, so I decreased the cost a bit.

Let me know what you think (keep it constructive)...

Change 1 makes it borderline worthless. Why waste your resources to bring something that kills your creatures as much as it kills opponents creatures?

Changes 2-3 makes me not want to upgrade a card.

I have no idea how is something fragile that does 1 dmg per turn to random enemy creature OP. 23 of those at the field are still not OP as you clogged your board, and enemy can quint their creatures or just flat out destroy you with single RoF.

change 1 is useless, 2 and 3 are situational. loked it better before, was not at all op

Sigh, I give up. If I cant please everyone, then ill just please myself. So its back to my original version we go. No further changes to be made, vote away.

Edit: Huh, I just looked at the votes. Looks like people liked the original anyways. Don't know why I bothered.

You are absolutely right, alone this creature is worthless, but you should consider fractal (and the associated quintessence).
It would be fun though, if adrenaline multiplies the damage :)

This would be great if you had upped version deal 2!

I think it would be better if it is 5 :darkness and does 2 damage each turn would be better.
