Actually, ignore me. I thought it was a permanent for some reason. But since it's a creature, it can be put in a deck with no Stone Pillars.

I like it, but does Fire really need a card like this?

Well no. but I think its a cool idea to have creatures turn into pillars and vice versus. I would like to see the mechanic available in game to increase element synergies, even if it doesnt turn out to be this idea for fire and earth. This is just a thematically good version of that mechanic, where it is easy to see the possibilities.

on the other hand, fires been nerfed a lot recently. this could be a new card to liven it up a bit, without making it over powered again.
