So, seeing as my last 'environmental' themed card got a good response, I've come up with another (though less friendly and life-giving, sorry :s)
Also, did once again search to try find if the idea's already been done, do tell/correct me if so!

I vote this ability be made the new ability for silence.

I like it, but 6 of this and 6 of silence = complete lockdown, throw in some novas, devourers, maybe even an EQ or two and you can powerhouse yourself into a lockdown. I'm not too fond of this concept, so maybe change it to 7|6 cost?

Really interesting concept, maybe this card's cost could be lowered by one too. Just my 2 cents.

I'll admit costing was a tricky one, because it's value changes during the game and is very dependent on what type of deck your opponent has (e.g. useless against pillarless!)

I first had it cheaper but then went a bit higher as to try avoid rush decks getting a lockdown very early on in the game. Too expensive though and no-one would bother using it...

In the right moment, this card can make or brake a match, in the wrong moment it does nothing at all....how to cost such a card!?!?!?

I will add a poll to let more people give their opinion and see where we end up...

As rare as they are, the card Nova has a ridiculous amount of applications. I can see this in a PSNbow with grabbies for attack.

I did think that was a typo!

I see, although surely a good upgraded deck could beat that? I'm not sure as have little experience with upgraded cards/decks due to being poor lol. And therefore the whole 'rush' stuff.
I'm not disagreeing, just wondering, hard for me to judge. I just think if it costs more no-one will bother using it, hence pointless?

I'm just sure about one thing: raising the upgraded duration to 2 turns would make it severely OP as it would lock down one's quanta for too much time. But I said the cost should be lowered not to render this a bad card in early game.. It's not easy to rack up that quanta as a duo or trio deck, if you also need it for other cards to be played..

I agree.

Well that's the real issue I think. Making it balanced so it's not OP for earth mono, but not UP/useless in duo/rainbow etc.

Maybe an unupped version that works if the opponent has X or less pillars, and an upped which is cheaper and works for bigger stacks?

Play Denial and Quanta Denial are redundant. They gain the desired quanta during the turns they are silenced unless you luck out on chaining from turn 1. (AKA the God Hand or great hand scenario)

Paying 6|5 :earth for 1 more turn of quanta denial easily seems fair.

Also that ultimate lockdown deck posted seemed more like "I wish I don't have to face that powerful deck" than a "OMG OP deck". Powerful decks are normal (even with OP Graboids)
