Remember, Aether has Quint too.  Tiger > Lightning > Quint would be a decent combo, that's 10 attack for 9 quanta upped.  BB does look scary, though it's VERY situational.  Wouldn't say a fatal flaw in the card, due simply to the fact that if a smart player sees an earth deck, he's going to be careful about playing this card.  Plus the 6-turn thing, which is plenty of time to cause all sorts of mayhem before it starts working against you.

10 power for 9 :aether with three cards seems balanced enough.  A tad less powerful than a Phase Dragon when you take into account the extra two card slots.

A nice, balanced idea! I couldn't say any bad about this one. Quint+lightning will make it strong, but well, that's why we got fire buckler and thorn carapace.

Basilisk Blood will make unupped version -19|27?  :) This is not just funny, but also a huge problem when a card that costs 1 quanta practically destroys you if you play this creature. You're :aether, you have no ways on taking that card out, and outdamaging its heal (thing you do when you run into similar troubles with Antimatter) is very hard, if possible at all. I'd play all my BBs on the same creature at the same turn. Your only hope is rewind, or antimatter, both of which you very likely dont have.

But anyway... Creature feels weakish to me. If you dont touch it, its ignorable. If you want to "buff" it by Lightning, its vulnerable.

What I would suggest is to move this into Entropy element. I know people here perceive entropy as something random, but thats not really true.
To avoid my possible bad english, I drew this line from wiki that actually makes sense with this card:
"The second law of thermodynamics states that in general the total entropy of any system will not decrease other than by increasing the entropy of some other system."
By decreasing attack, you're increasing HP and vice versa.

Also, Entropy has an answer to negative attack - Antimatter. I think this card would fit there perfectly!
Actually, time would have a better counter to negative attack. Rewind. Antimatter would make it go from say, -15/27 upped, but then antimattering it would make it 15/-3, and it would therefore die instantly. I think it is a fine aether card, because while other aether cards are immune to CC, this becomes more powerful when damaged. So it still keeps aether's creatures generally resilient and is a nice attacker.

Some problems with this card.....

Basilisk blood, as noted.

if you up it's attack too much, would it die?

If you buff both stats with the same ability, which would go up and which would go down? ex. momentum, blessing.

Otherwise a neat concept, but I don't think it will work

Considering putting a cap on any one stat in this fashion, although six turns does mitigate it a good bit.  That's most of the game right there.  Yes, if you buff it's attack high enough, it will die.  And buffs like momentum and blessing will cancel each other out.

I liked it then, and I like it now.
The main problem is really BB, what´s about capping the Stats at 12|0/0|12? If BB is used, it will become a 0|12 creature, with 6-turn-stasis.

Yeah, that was me who suggested that ability for the Steel Golem.  Almost won the competition with it too.  Capping any one stat sounds like a good idea to me.  I'll put it in the notes

Lol, I just thought of the most bizarre use for this card: it can be used to get bolts across reflective shields. You bolt this with say a fire lance, getting it to say 50/-38 and it can get through reflective shield :P. Though it wouldn't be worth it since just packing a reflective shield yourself would solve this nicely. Sacrificing an off color creature is not effective.

As stated in the notes, no one stat can exceed 12.  And besides, a creature dies instantly when its HP is at or below 0.
