Exactly.  If it were better, or even on par, what reason would you have to run what the game provides.  This is meant more as a utility spell as well as having a strong Infection since only gets it through Virus.  Also, Plague and Retrovirus is a waste when you only have one target, creating a stronger, accurate means of CC in .

imo, poison should be able to target creatures as well and give them 1 poison counter.

i like it, it provides a more direct form of poison and low form of creature protection for death.
uses:
target opponent for quick poison (basically you can use 7 poisons on the opponent instead of just 6)
cures your own health of poison
poisons opponent's creature
cures ally creature

a good 4 uses out of one card. i like it

I like the diversity of this, and the idea of adding more cards into the game which is what i think this game needs. just my opinion though.

You are wrong in the sense that antivenom can cause poisoning, but are right in the sense that unneccesarily consuming chemical substance can cause harm (=overdose).
Either way, interesting mechanics.

I like the theme + mechanic. Very good versatile idea.

For some reason i think of  when i see the word antivenom... but it works this way too. I would definitely like to see a card put in that lets you cure poison effects and this looks like a neat way to do it.
