they saw 2/3 deck this round using dimshields, so i guess theyll have at least one be+photon in or try to outrush/deflag them, also eq is possible.

atm i think rainbow-graby would be nice, with upgraded graboids and maybe 1 arsenic.

So this is going to sound a little weird, but I expect Zeru will test those three decks against fractal phoenix, and then choose the best one (or create a new deck, maybe based on EQs w/some salvaged earth cards from Round 8...?).

I think we should test some of those decks against fractal phoenix, assume Zeru is likely to choose that deck, and then pick the best counter.

I can help test the first deck (I have 2 AMs, 2 quints, and 2 aether pillars upped) but as it turns out I'm too poor to up cards for the others.

i have every single upgraded card in that deck, so i can help with the testing the last deck if kev can't.

i agree on rainbow graboids, assuming that it was the deck i used. it worked amazingly against entropy last time, and i don't see why it wouldn't work next time as well.

i think this could do fine, hardcore-testing the next time (if im not on, feel free to test it if 2 of you are on with required upgraded cards to test)

and i think i should set up a dimshield deck, the one with the spirits.

on the other hand, they may not have enough permanent control(and i dont want to give them deflags for the rounds later, maybe
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 622 622 622 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 808 808
could be the way to go. suggestions?

*edit* but giving them dimshields is also no good idea, so i think rainbow is the best choice, but we will test!

I'm leaning towards the Graboid deck as well, and I think a 5th Elite Graboid could work, since the upgrade is such a huge difference there (probably in place of 2nd Arsenic or Forest Spirit).

maybe for the werewolf, because i cant kill him with a single ragepot, if antimattered, and i need 2x2 quanta (not THAT easy with possible discord). but we will test this.

After testing and thinking a bit there's some truth to the above.  I don't think Zeru has a possible counter to fractal phoenix.  It's too fast and he can't avoid shieldlock.  Giving him deflags when we know he has a Fire deck could be a misstep.  But if Ant were to use fractal phoenix first and actually lose, Zeru's salvage is less meaningful.

Not sure why you'd take out the immos, especially if EQs is a possibility.  Gotta have a couple deflags for diss shields/discords.  This would be my suggestion:
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 622 622 622 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 808I don't think the grabby deck is a bad idea.  I tested it with plastiqe last round and the outcome was embarrassing for entropy.  It's struggled in testing a little bit more this round.  Maybe it's just coincidence.  If you DO go with the grabby deck, I would not add a fifth grabby as I was often short on both :earth and :time.  I'd consider adding a fire spirit in place of the lycan.  Didn't look to me like a fourth deflag was needed; I didn't mention it but in testing I sometimes didn't deflag your discord because I needed a shift to :time, for instance.

Meh.  I like our chances either way and if Antagon loses, we get to try the other idea.  :D

i removed the fire shield and added an earthquake, most of their decks rely on heavy quantum usage (exspecially entropy), and a fire spirit, you suggested.
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52q 5c1 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f6 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5og 71a 77g 77g 77g 77g 77j

AND, if i should really lose, ill use a fractal-phoenix without shields next round, cause that would still be able to outrush him and bad draws are not that problem.
