Jumping the gun again.

Three potential Round 8 decks from earth:
Flying Discord - won last two rounds
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 590 590 590 595 595 595 595 5ic 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oiRT - won last two rounds
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 591 591 591 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77gGolems and BBs - won last round
Code: [Select]
52q 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58s 58s 58v 592 592 595 595 595 595 595 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fb 5fb 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9
There's plenty more possibilities, of course, but it's very likely they'll use at least the first two this round.  Earth (and a lot of other elements) has reused every single winner since at least Round 4 in a future round.

Zeru used this the past two rounds:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vf 4vn 4vn 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fc 5fc 5l9 5l9 5l9 6u5 77j 77j 7di 7dr 7drLast round plastiqe beat this deck from jmizzle7:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vg 4vg 4vi 4vi 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vo 4vo 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5up 5up 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 5uu 61o 61o 61o 61t 621 621 621 621Other than Zeru's deck all of their decks have been either duo darkness or duo aether for quite some time.  Since there are more darkness cards in the above, lightnings are missing from the above, and they won with their aether duo but lost with their darkness duo in Round 6, I think it's likely they kept an aether duo.  If we don't see another quasi-suicide, (which is a possibility,) we should expect an aether duo.

Good luck to Corrum and girls.  I won't be offended if you don't leave me any opponents to beat up on in future rounds.

no master this round! - i like it.

i think theyll play their discord deck against me (counterable with fractal phoenix eventually with more dim-shields?) i think we should test a lot for this

the other earth deck, i exspect the reverse time deck.

and most likely the aether-entropy.

@corrum: with our salvaged cards, there shouldnt be a problem to make a due deck with aether. enough pillars and also shields.

1.) wanna test this deck against their flying discords (and maybe against unupgraded golem too)
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 622 622 622 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 808
after a bit of testing, this seems to be an idea
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61u 622 622 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 808 808

2.) against entropy i think plastiqes last round deck could be the correct answer (again), hardly see any real counter to it.
Code: [Select]
4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52q 590 590 590 590 5c1 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f3 5f3 5f6 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5og 5og
3.) thinking and working on a deck for you atm. dont know whats better: shieldlock vs lightnings vs something with qe, etc.

maybe
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f6 5f6 5f7 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 621 621

The deflags aren't as useful this round cuz their weapons fly and their shields and arsenic will prolly be PA'd.  Added a fractal instead of a shield cuz I thought emphasis should be on getting phoenix out fast and using shields as backup.  Interested in seeing how you tweak this before we retest.

As we noted last round, the spirit and lightning deck won against grabby rewind (and almost defintely their golem deck), but lost against flying weapons.  Maybe last round's salvage helped it, though.

Question for anybody: if you were Terro, how would you allocate the three decks?  Would you learn from Fire last round and suicide somewhere?

We lucked out in the seeding this round (finally) and I am really liking our chances to win the whole thing now.

I knew your deck was going to be tough to beat. Since you've gone 4 out of 5 fractal phoenixes i pretty much knew what was coming as well.  ;)
I'm quite sure that Earth will be expecting Fractal Phoenix from Ant, so if they're sending an actual deck against us (likely because they haven't been using suicides in the war so far) it'll be whicever one they think is strongest against it.

I think the addition of Dim Shields and 33 cards should be enough to defeat their Protected Aether, though I would still keep the deflags because even Protected Aether they aren't guaranteed to always pick up a PA for each Shield.  The only thing that worries me is if they send their Flying Discord deck, except with Earthquake subbed in for Basilisk Bloods.

I'm also quite sure Entropy is discarding the darkness cards from their suicide deck because Corrum already knocked out the last of their Lycanthropes.  I think it is a safe bet that Zeru will field the same Entropy/Fire against Earth and we'll get the Entropy/Aether... unless they suicide again this round.  Anyways, I agree with the Graboid deck from last round for girlsg.

3.) thinking and working on a deck for you atm. dont know whats better: shieldlock vs lightnings vs something with qe, etc.
For Corrums Aether/Fire the only issue I see is high Aether usage.  If we're not lucky with some early Aether pillars or they play quanta denial in some form it could be tough.

tested decks a lot with kevkev, and we think thats the way to go. comments/suggestions/improvements please.

@corrums deck:
against graboids-reverse times, its pretty easy: play only quinted spirits and shield lock, if you have to.
against flying discords: hardest matchup, try to start shieldlock pretty early (normally as soon as you can), only quinted spirits and deflag a stone pillar, if he only has one, otherwise wait for the trident (or an early discord, not flying)
against golem-rush: also only qe spirits, shield-lock to survive 1-2 pumped golems if it gets deflaged (and play shield again), deflag shield.
if he uses eqs, always hold an aether pillar at hand (to keep shield lock) and rush him out.

@girlsgenerations deck:
against aether-entropy rush him out, deflag discords/dissipation shield (if possible) and always fear antimatters. you could use rage pots to kill your own antimattered creatures or to pump up your werewolf/forest spirits (last hit or if he cant antimatter them)

This looks pretty solid to me.  Not had as much time today as I would have liked but the couple times I have tried it so far worked well and I think I have a pretty good idea on how to play the timing for when to start chaining the shields and what not.
