I'll assume Ant will use fractal phoenix vs death (maybe with purify added), which leaves the graboid and the fire spirit decks.  I expect jmizzle to come with the deck entropy has used successfully against us in rounds 5 & 6.  I think my best bet is Graboid rush because it's less vulnerable to an early Discord, however if I'm right the rage pots will likely be dead cards.  What do you guys think?

Here is the decktype I expect from entropy, I've been looking back and they've played something like this in every round only sometimes without the butterfly photon.

Code: [Select]

against entropy, i think a momentum couldnt be bad, what do you think?

not sure what to use against earth (exspecially against master), i want to hear kevs opinion (hes playing, so last decision is his). also the deck, he mentioned, is possible, then we replace the arsenic from rainbow deck with a vampire stiletto.

maybe - against entropy - also a deck with lightnings, BUT the qe-deck will beat it with ease, i think.

OR with the 28 fire cards left, a 56 card-deck, and - if we lose - we can still build a good deck next round (with a few less options, but we could decide what to discard when we already know next rounds opponents), and - if the worst case becomes real - and we lose all 3 matches, we are still not out.

what do you (all) think?

As I said I tested the grabby deck pretty extensively.  When not against EQs, I always had a fire quantum surplus.  Dunno how discord changes that, though.

I already mentioned Antagon taking more deflags, and that goes double now that I know his opponent.

Given the leftover deck ideas, I'll prolly take duo aether and pray they don't pack EQs.  I'll answer in more detail tomorrow.

maybe that for entropy, with 1 less graboid and 1 less pillar, 2 deflags against discords/shields, a momentum for same thing, 3 pump-up creatures for antimatters. plastiqe, its still up to you, what version to play.

and i thought about earth matchup, i think best could be the 28 fire-card idea, cause all their other matchups are against masters, so i think they wont risk a loss here. i exspect the devourer-earth deck or again their flying weapon deck, they used last round. both are hard to beat (maybe with the 5 basilisk bloods?), so maybe the 56card deck.

i have a feeling that terro will think we will use a suicide deck and bring out an 'offensive' suicide deck against us. he has been facing suicide decks forever, and i'm sure he can deduce that we will suicide against him.

they know that time and light's decks are limited and are probably working on to defeat them, rather than us.

that's my reverse psychology logic, but heck, i'm not playing in this round anyway. it's up to u.

i dont think so, they handle us - in my opinion - as biggest threat, and we are their only non-master matchup, with their master. theyll get sure, they win this round.

a deck like
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 591 592 592 595 595 595 595 595 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5fc 5fc is possible, so we have still many options (drop the not needed fire-cards and one element cards too).

atm i think, this would be a good option.

or stay with the standard-phoenix'
like
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5ia 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 622 622 622 622 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 808
and go with

Code: [Select]
4vj 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t
or something like that.
but very vulnerable to eqs or their flying weapons deck.

i want pro and cons please, and opinions.

seems good to me, maybe a pillar less for a ragepot, but - you tested it against entropy - and it also seems to be reasonable to me, to use 6 pillars.

now finished 2 decks (minor changes possible, still think of replacing an aetherpillar with a fire one)

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f5 5f6 5f7 5f7 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc
thats the fire cards left, any deck with 27 other cards could be played as last deck. kev and i tested now against possible earth decks, and any possible deck seems to be too weak (maybe with this rounds salvages, if we get any)

possible is

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52r 52r 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f5 5f6 5f7 5f7 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5i7 5i7 5i7 5ia 5up 621 622
without any earth cards (for them to salvage), and we could keep - for example -
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vl 4vl 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f3 5f6 5f7 5f7 5fb 5fb
so we still have the "good" fire cards for a deck, and possibilities to make fire-earth or fire-aether next round (maybe better with some salvages, this round)

ill be off now till tomorrow (about 5 hours before phase ends), any suggestions/changes in here please.
