from  :light i exspect
2 pegasus rush
and/or
1 earthquake-morning star-dragon-miracle

think every aether-stall-deck (32-34 cards) is a possibility (with spirit-quintessence+fh for dmg), question is number of deflags (maybe they also play a deck with 3 thorn carpaces, like hobnob did last round), but then deckout is still a possibility

 :earth
i exspect them to play a deck with momentums (pulverizers suit then), and high-defense creatures (dont think theyll try graboids with reverse times and earthquakes, but who knows), there i would like a dragon-fh deck, maybe with fire-marks too. it has also a chance to outrush graboids. so all offense is the way to go, in my opinion. kev with 3 marks?

 :entropy
we have to wait, who gets zeru (i dont think they send zeru vs earth), most likely a deck with lycans and vampires, maybe there rain of fire is an idea(3 left+ the fire shield), poison-bolt could be the way (or mono red fb, with fhs and 3 or 4 deflags), or we salvage a 3rd bone wall and use bonewalls+arsenics+poisons(and the bone pillars) and some creature control, maybe bolts too.
the other deck, i think, our (last) rainbow, graboid rainbow, is an idea, with ragepots for creature control and unevolved graboids to avoid antimatter, also arsenics and fog shields are nice there.

Thinking out loud about Entropy matchups here.

Antagon said in the Element by Element  thread:
entropy limited but salvaged 3 discords and possible 1 antimatter this round, still very strong.
I believe entropy has lost 17 antimatters but salvaged some.  Last round they used four, lost one, and had the ability to salvage three, so they may now have up to six.

They used a mf'ing discord in every matchup last round (and enchant artifacts in one as well).  So we either need deflags and hope that they won't EA discords, phase shields, or a speed/immo deck which discord doesn't hurt as much.

They've got butterflies available but I think dim shields might not be a bad way to go.  They've made exactly 30-card decks each of the past two rounds, maybe more.

Additionally, I'm hopeful they'll not vary their decks much from the previous round.  They have 126 cards remaining (plenty of subs over and above the 90) but it's hard to force yourself to tweak a winning deck, especially if you're losing hope and options.  Here were their three decks that won last round:

More later.  I'd love to hear thoughts on what they'll play against us versus their Earth matchup.  Prolly won't post anything else constructive until Tuesday.

i strongly disagree to use phase-shield decks against entropy, steals are always possible and then its pretty over.

we still have some immolations and random cards from other elements, so i suggest using an immolation rainbow against either earth or entropy. They saw us using tons of firebolt decks, and therefore it's highly possible that they use earthquakes against us.

but then, we have a problem: we don't have so many cheap sacrifice creatures for immolation. the cheapest i see in the vault are 2 lycans, 1 photon, 8 fire spirits, blahblah... guess we could use fire spirits for sac.

it works against earthquake using earth and entropy too since we can just immo the antimattered creatures.

against light, as antagon suggested in chat, dim shield lock seems fine.

r we gonna use poison-bolt somewhere again?

Yeah, I saw that after posting the six decks.  Dim would be terrible.

We might be reseeding cuz Light can only field five.

Posting this from last round for my own edification:
Well, we originially had in the vault cards for the following decks:

With 29 filler... but now we're missing some cards.  We're down to 6 immos, 12 fire bolts and 0 earthquakes.  If we want to keep the last remaining immos for the fractal phoenix deck, the first four decks are no longer options.

Cottage was fun, and good job with the wins last round everybody!

It's just logic. We were hoping they used an immolation rush. They didn't. =\.
Odd that they havne't realized we've lost most of our immolation fodder.  I think Earth will come with Earthquakes this round.

How is Entropy deciding who plays this round?  I haven't time to read all the rules discussions, anyone wanna fill me in on the specifics?

not sure on decks now, maybe earth goes with a phase-shield+protect artefact deck? one deck might be momentums+pulverizer, maybe also standard-graboid rushs, ill think of it tomorrow, now im tired :)

As I said above, I think  :entropy is likely to basically keep the three decks as they used last round.  It makes sense to put the quint dragon deck against us, as we have the best control, and the enchant artifact deck against us, as we have better perm control.  Also, Perv played the lycan/vamp deck two rounds ago against light.  So we're likely to see something very similar to these two (Perv/jmizzle could easily be switched but this is my best guess):

Perv's deck:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vg 4vl 4vn 4vn 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 621 621 621 621
jmizzle's deck:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vf 4vi 4vl 4vn 4vo 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5um 5uo 5up 5up 592 592 592
Earth deck 1:
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 591 591 592 592 592 592 592 592 594 594 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 622 622That's the deck PuppyChow used to beat coke in Round Three.

Quote from: PuppyChow
Idea behind deck was to stop an immolation rush and anything else fire has. The only thing I was worried about was a fire bolt deck, which the stone skins were supposed to guard against (if they did use one, they would increase my health to 200 and make it harder to do). Basically you hind behind PAd dim shields until you can fractal a shrieker. Then you play half the shriekers, check for RoF, and then play more.
Pup is being subbed but for the reasons Pup lists I think it's likely one of our  :earth matchups uses this deck, and my money's on $$$man (Pun!).  I agree with plastiqe that it's very peculiar they haven't noticed we're short on immos given the research both Team Earth and SG have indicated they do.  I also agree w/plastiqe that earthquakes are likely to headline one of the decks.

Light is short on cards, especially Light cards, so they'll make decks close to 15/15.  We know they have a Light/Life deck with thorn carapace and a Light/Water deck with ice bolts and ice shields.

I think Antagon's decks are great, and we'd do very well with them.  For the reasons above, if it were my decision alone, I would...
Against light: Dragon/phoenix/farenheit with 4 deflags.  In the proposed deck, dim shields are susceptible to ice bolts, and quints are maybe useless against either no perm control or shields.
Against perv: 31-card shield lock is instawin if I guessed right that Perv takes this deck with no perm control.  If I'm wrong, that deck could go either way.
Against jmizz: If I'm right about deck choice, ragepots are victory.

I JUST REALIZED, 31-CARD SHIELD LOCK W/6 RAGEPOTS IS VICTORY AGAINST BOTH ENTROPY DECKS!  We can still get more ragepots...

Against $$$man: If I'm right about his deck choice it's too bad we don't have any quanta control.  Poisonbolt is still a really good choice.
Against Didonko: Grabby rush is win if plastiqe and I are right about Earthquakes, and a good bet even if we're wrong.

Again, these are my opinions.  I have faith in Antagon's deck choices, whatever they turn out to be.
