Will test the second deck in pvp 1 tonight and vs ai3 and see how it goes.  Also, I was thinking that could make it more of a duo and add some lightning bolts and remove the bone walls.  that may not help much tho, more creature removal but less stall.  On third thought could also replace the bone walls with fog shields and change the mark to aether.

Just to help keep my own thoughts straight, here's the conclusion I came to chatting with Antagon.
Antagon = fractal phoenix
kevkev = dragon/farenheit
plastiqe = deck-out (or poison bolt).  Because  :earth is very likely to use 35 cards or less, no spells that target plastiqe, and probably no perm control, deck-out seems like the best option to me.  It's resistant to EQ and will definitely not be expected.  Up to plastiqe and Antagon, though.
coke = poison bolt
corrum = poison bolt or deck out

Will test the second deck in pvp 1 tonight and vs ai3 and see how it goes.  Also, I was thinking that could make it more of a duo and add some lightning bolts and remove the bone walls.  that may not help much tho, more creature removal but less stall.  On third thought could also replace the bone walls with fog shields and change the mark to aether.
I probably wouldn't pvp with Team Fire decks.  It's unlikely, but we'd be in a pickle if you ran into someone from the War.

I like the existing RoF/bonewall combo but lightning bolts are good, too, since  :death dragons have 5hp.

Ok, I will just test vs ai3.  both options seem to do ok for stall.  I think I would prefer the poison-bolt deck for my match vs. Malduk.

::edit:: My biggest fear would be reverse times, with only an earth mark casting a shrieker would be tough.

Let's win these, cuz we're using our last immos, fire bolts, ragepots and fire shield.  ;)

Overall, I really like the decks you've chosen.  I offer a few tweaks and I apologize that my opinions have kind of gone back and forth.

kevkev: I really don't want three farenheits.  Please replace it with any other fire card.  Corrum asked whether I'll be able to get over a miracle stall and I think I'm prolly ok but please let me know if anyone disagrees.

Antagon: As is, I think you'd fare well against almost every type of deck, even quanta control.  The only exception is phase shields.  They may look at our decks collectively and expect you to be packing deflags, but if they look at your matches only you've mostly done without them.  Up to you.

Corrum/coke: Looks awesome.

plastiqe: I recommended a time mark with +5 dials, -2 quints, -2 fire spirits, -2 aether pillars.  Antagon decided on a quasi-stall with a backup plan.  I worry about whether plastiqe will be able to find his two-card combo.  Meh.  He'll be fine.

Side note: We're using 115/157 fire cards this round.  If it doesn't go well, we're eventually going to have to start thinking about more duo decks.

beta 1.1

replaced 1 fh with a phoenix in kevkevs deck (fine with that?)

and i dont like the time mark idea. first i also thought, its fine, cause deckout is the highest chance to win, BUT with an aether-mark, you could shieldlock with only one pillar at once (and survive earthquakes), with time mark, that is not possible. and against a shrieker rush with reverse times, the fire spiti-qe combo could also do very well, it should be enough to outdmg opponent (with fh too). still testing the timemark idea, but im not sure it will do well.
