With 29 filler... but now we're missing some cards. We're down to 6 immos, 12 fire bolts and 0 earthquakes. If we want to keep the last remaining immos for the fractal phoenix deck, the first four decks are no longer options.
Here are my thoughts:
Antagon: If Light is paying a lot of attention (and they probably are), they'll expect your dial-bolt deck from Round 2 because it's an answer to Miracle, Hope, and pretty much every card light has. If they were confident and/or risk takers, they could run a quanta denial deck with EQ, pests, or discord, all of which are possible salvages for them. Otoh fractal phoenix is so fast, they may not stand a chance even if they did have miracle and hope packed.
kevkev: If Light is paying a lot of attention (and they probably are), they'll have noticed that we've packed a total of six firestorms and zero fire shields in our previous 18 matches. Vying for second place, this may be a great time to build a hope deck with a backup reflector shield. I wish we had one light pillar (we should salvage one) to pack with a reflector shield. That worked perfectly in the tourney I won last week. Since we don't, I'd like to build a modified Dragon (w/Farenheit) deck.
plastiqe: I think there's a reasonable chance Earth will play the deck that beat coke:
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 591 591 592 592 592 592 592 592 594 594 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 622 622
Given that we have 15 poisons now, poison bolt may be our best bet. Whatever you choose, make sure it can beat that deck because it'll be embarrassing if we don't adjust. I'm happy to help you test, if you'd like. Maybe you wanna replace RoFs with ragepots to counter grabbys/shriekers?
coke and malduk: I think
learned how potent bonewalls are against us. Deflags aren't that effective and we haven't had more than a few creatures in most decks, plus immo just feeds it. They seem to be big believers in shields. Last round they used bonewalls, phase shields, and dusk mantles in their three winners. I feel like poisonbolt may be a winner here, but antagon/plastiqe are considering bolt decks and we may not have enough to go around. A deck-out deck could work if we used novas, phase shields, purify, and fire for control.
I guess it comes down to who wants the fire bolts. And then the rest will work around it.
Edit: Just noticed Earth has never used more than 35 cards in a deck, and frequently uses deckout strategies. They may have noticed that we never use more than 32. If we want to take a shot we could make a 36-card deck with phase shields and fire for control.
