personally i dont like the graboid rainbow, it would take way to long to play them with just nova/mark but i allways love a good phoenix deck

Edit: tho id like a fireshield to kill off lycans and maxwells, or things he plays i cant touch

rotface maybe gets replaced and wassd was replaced (by ice) this round, maybe again not here, so they cant salvage cards, in that case, and their decks are very limited now

Quote
icybraker (won, maybe 6 poison, 2 fog shield, 6 shockwave)
skyguy (lost)
wassd13 (lost)
unionruler (lost)
rotface (lost)
icecoldbro (lost)

lost:
aether:
fractal 4
lobotomizer 10
dimensional shield 9
parallel universe 14
lightning 17
phase dragon 6

other:
fate egg 6
flying weapon 6
fog shield 4
so only 1 lightning left, 7 shields, 4 parallel universes and 12 phase dragons (but potentially 12 fractals)

i missed fractal-devourers till now and dim-shield+enchant artifact, so there are potential 2 "kinds" of decks, they could use (beside of fractal-devourers): dimshield-enchant artefact + dragons or with deat mark instead of earth and poison
and parallel universe/dragons with air mark and shockwaves + fog shield.
i also think they could have a deck in the backhand with sparks+immolations+phoenixes (or golems).

now we have to think about many things:
1. would they "waste" their decks for us (they have 2x fire, 1x death, 1xtime, 1xdarkness and 1xgravity(master)) and which ones?
2. which entropy-deck will zeru use and which cards he could master? (and please play graboids a few times against the trainer, it isnt slow (you need a 3-card-combo for phoenix to work, and with graboids 2/6 novas, but that isnt a bad chance, and i like ragepots against entropy very much, cause they kill pretty every creature they play. and you can leave the graboids burried against antimatter, you also have many creatures, and deflags against dimission shields. please try graboids a few times at trainer.)
3. will time use the same deck again, they used against coke? or do we think, they will change, maybe with more control, reverse times or something?
4. valuka (air) used a wyrm-blessing deck last round, but strongest air deck is unstable gas-fog shield-dragon deck. (darkness, fire, death, entropy, gravity and light(master)) maybe we should go some sort of rainbow (phoenix maybe against shock waves) and should we use a reflective shield, in case of unstable gas?
5. haka (water) used a air mark with shockwaves and to use infection of toadfish. maybe a sundial-bolt deck could be usefull, or could be the aether-fire an option? or even fractal again?

we have to think about and answer these questions for ourselves.

atm i like graboids against zeru, sundial-bolt for me, aether-fire or poison-bolt against time, 2x rainbow phoenix against air and wassd, and fahrenheit-dragon (with 2 deflags instead of phoenix') against  rotface (i dont know if he gets replaced)

I'm going with the aether/fire unless anyone objects.

The deck is weak against perm control, but they used what was probably their only fire/time deck in round 1 and lost.  They probably salvaged deflags from coke but I don't think they'll have enough fire cards to make a true duo deck.

I'm willing to bet they do have a time/dark duo deck laying around and I know bojengles favors darkness, but choosing to use what little perm control they have left (and the likely devourer deck) against fire seems borderline crazy.

I've been testing it and I think I'm going to use a fire mark instead of aether.  I could replace a fire pillar with my newly acquired fire mark, but I'm very unlikely to be up against earthquakes so it probably won't matter.

Thoughts, anyone?

Ok, after some thinking I am leaning towards this deck for my match with air.

Code: [Select]
52q 55t 595 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5i7 5i7 5lg 5og 5rk 5ur 61p 61p 61p 61p 61p 61p
Put a momentum in to help with fog shield and reflect shields if they play the unstable gas deck.  I think there is plenty of creature control if I see lots of dragons.  The phase dragon deck there isn't much I can do but hope to be faster and that my fog shield stalls allot.

Corrum

::edit:: updated deck with Antagon's suggestions.

i think ill run this, also any suggestions? im testing -1 fahrenheit, +1 pillar
only decks i fear is one with earth mark and trident/earthquakes, and poison-decks, but i think chance not great, he will use such a deck, what do you think?

for coke i would suggest
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5f7 5f7would you like that, or any other thoughts?

@corrum: maybe lightning, rage pot and momentum out and 1 gravity pull + 2 freeze in, cause most air-creatures (dragons, queens, flying owls eyes) have more than 5 life, so lightning and ragepot might be useless, the rest looks good, in my opinion.

  15. :fire syco666 (phoenix-rainbow or graboid-rainbow? graboid rainbow with rage potions?)
  16. :entropy Zeru
I think Zeru is likely to anticipate a speed rainbow deck, and counter with a faster, supernova based rainbow deck.  His deck will be 30 cards and might even have precogs in it.  This is all just my guess.  If we have a stall deck with heavy creature control (ragepots), it might be a good way to go.  Having few creatures would protect us against Maxwells and Antimatters, too.  Discord will very likely be present, though.  Tough matchup.

Quote
  17. :air valuka
  18. :fire Corrum (maybe rainbow-phoenix, exspected shockwaves)
I think the deck you proposed with the revisions antagon proposed is absolutely perfect.

Quote
  31. :fire cokeandaspirin/plastiqe (a rainbow or poison bolt?) vs :aether
If I'm aether looking at a fire matchup, I'm likely to not bother with phase shields.  I think a fractal deck is likely (they have 14 left).  If I'm right, taking something either very fast or with a lot of creature control is the way to go.

Quote
  61. :fire Antagon (sundial-bolt? at least a possibility, or a rainbow with a few upgrades)
  62. :water Harakirinosaru
Sundial-bolt can outpace poison, right?  I think you're absolutely right that all you have to fear is earthquake/trident.  But even that you have a chance and it's not really likely cuz to use flying tridents it'd be a trio/rainbow deck.  -1 farenheit is right imo and I'd recommend you use your three marks in place of pillars.

and yes, first matchup against zeru is hard, and graboids uses 6 ragepotions, is fast, has many creatures (too many to antimatter all and graboids could burrow), thats why i suggest it.

also tested sundial-bolt and it is fine with 3 fahrenheit (for early, hard damage while sundial-lock)

and against aether, both - phoenix and dragon - would outrush it (even with fractal-frogs, no other good fractal deck in my mind without upgraded cards, and even frogs are not that good), and they have only one lightning left, so dragons could cause major problems (the 2 deflags if they really try to shield-lock us)

for your deck i would suggest MAYBE an additional dim.shield (i also could build fractal phoenix without that shields) or a 4th quintessence?

plastiqe could play a golem-rush, cause no lightnings left and its faster, but maybe they salvaged shockwaves, then maybe phoenix better, thats up to him.

Yeah, I don't know what strategies aether will use.  We haven't seen any Phase Spiders or Immortals (though Icy doesn't like Immortals) out of them yet.  Maybe they'd try a mono-aether with six phase shields, hoping we'll have only a couple deflags.  Maybe rainbow with less creature control and more perm control would be perfect.  Unupgraded aether is so expensive that earthquakes would kick ass as well.

for your deck i would suggest MAYBE an additional dim.shield (i also could build fractal phoenix without that shields) or a 4th quintessence?
I think it's fine as is:
