maybe you should exchange more bolts for rage potions, i think its ok with decks, you also can run graboid-rainbow with bolts, and creature control will be much better with potions

K.  I justed tested the aether deck (1-4) and the speed phoenix deck (5-0) against the entropy mark in AI3.  I recognize AI3 entropy is going to be different than jmizzle's entropy, but the results sort of speak for themselves.

The beauty of the phoenix is if it is antimattered I can immo it and maxwell only slows it down rather than destroying it.  And my concern that there wasn't enough control in the deck for maxwell's was unfounded unless he's carrying six of them.

I can't even think of any changes I'd make to the deck against jm given what's in our vault.  Man, immo is so powerful in an unupgraded format because so few people can play anything on turn one.

If Antagon wishes, I will of course play the aether deck or any other deck.  But I'm pretty positive phoenix gives me the best chance to win.  There may be situations where it makes sense not to play and risk one of our best decks but I think we're better off shooting for a fast start with a lot of victories.

Looking forward to your decision.

i say, you should play that, what your are most comfortable with, but i strongly suggest golem-rush then, cause it is faster, has more creatures (and you could counter antimatter with golem-pump-ups), and i exchanged a steal in (i dont need it in fractal-phoenix) and an additional anti-creature card, you could get the 4 dark-quanta for steal also with the help of a discord and THEN you are able to steal his discord or even shield.

are you fine with that? (btw, im asking atm if mark-changing is allowed between matches, you could maybe change to fire mark after first match, if he is running many discords, then you dont need the earth mark and fire mark would fit a bit better)

Speed golems is my very favorite fire deck, but in this situation I'm really feeling the phoenix deck.  It gets my vote.

Do we think its worth playing a 31 card deck in case he's playing antimatter/liquid shadow/ dissipation shield uber defense?

I will of course be comfortable playing whatever you decide.

Something else I just thought of: I'll try to spectate whenever I'm in chat and a War match is going down.  It'd be helpful to know which decks are still out there.  So if I see life beat water, ill make a note of the winning deck somewhere.  It may help us plan for future battles.

I'm not sure whether we're allowed to change decks in this 24 hour period.  Maybe we'd have to suffer the penalty?  It's unclear.  Regardless I don't think I'm changing.

I assume we're one of the teams who had our act together and we won't be penalized.

Did antagon ever get a response on whether we're able to change marks between matches?
