Couple tough matchups but nothing we can't handle. :)

Light, entropy, time, and poison.  Deck selections and element counter strategies could go here.   I intend to practice with the deck I'm given a bunch of times before gametime.

hm..one master and 2 times entropy, which is probably the hardest matchup for us, but it is possible, at least  no earth and aether.

i dont want to decide the decks, everyone is using, ill post my suggestion here soon, everyone shout do this, or at least let us know, which deck(s) (s)he prefers.

  17. :light xdude
  18. :fire syco666
maybe the aether/fire? i would like to play the fractal-phoenix, so at least one of us shouldnt look in a discord
earthquake-golem idea from plastiqe, replace the deflags (against light maybe not that useful, or just one) with rain of fire(s)

  21. :fire cokeandaspirin
  22. :time Belthazar666
mono-red-bolt or poison-bolt? sundials/shields/reverse times/eternity dont hurt much

  23. :fire plastiqe
  24. :entropy Rastafla
some kind of rainbow with an extra deflag?
maybe poison-bolt or mono-red-bolt, brought in by coke

  35. :fire kevkev60614
  36. :entropy jmizzle7
some kind of rainbow with an extra deflag?
maybe poison-bolt or mono-red-bolt, brought in by coke

  41. :death coinich
  42. :fire Corrum
the rainbow left with holy lights and purify? maybe golem or phoenix?

  43. :fire Antagon
  44. :light Candle
i think i could go with fractal phoenix, dont exspect a hope-luciferine combo (cause fire shields and rain of fires are exspected), but maybe a reflective shield.

im not big worryed about this one, the only problem should be quinted anubis, and thats all. i would preffer going with mono fire, with few crits, for this one.

16 pillars
6 bolts,
2 explo
2 storm
2 rage
4 pheonix
maybe buclker

If I were on team light I would've recommended xdude up rols and play fractal hope, especially round one.  I've only played him a couple times; anyone know him well enough 2 guess?

Will comment in greater detail later.

i dont know xdude that good, but - in my opinion - it would be a major mistake, cause he KNOWS we could exspect that and with a single fireshield/fire storm rol-hope gets blown away.

not sure if he will risk that.

16 pillars

2 explo

i definitly would suggest fahrenheits, cause - if mono - he couldnt do much against it,

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5f7 5f8 5f8

is the "original" build, you could use 2 phoenix (they are "filler" cards), but i think raw damage is maybe better against time, so i would suggest dragons. also 1-2 burning pillars are fillers, if you think you need them. its up to you to build/change your deck, but please with filler cards, we will need the other cards for our other decks (that maybe changes after salvages after this first round)

@corrum: i would be pleased, if you wait for kevkev and plastiqe, if one of them wants to play graboid-rainbow, they will get the go, cause entropy seems stronger.
i also think - for example - the fire golem rush fits a bit better, where you could exchange anti-creature cards and still have many creatures (against bone walls you might need them)
one example
Code: [Select]
4vh 52q 5c1 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fb 5fc 5ia 5ia 5l9 5l9 5l9 5lc 5lc 5lc 61p 61p 61p
but i would be pleased, if you let the "entropy" players decide, IF theyll use a rainbow and which one, if they want.

I think we should use the Graboid rainbow and Golem rainbow against entropy, and then take Phoenix rainbow against death.  I'm ok with using either, but I think burried Graboids and growth Golems will help against entropic creature control, while Phoenix should prove difficult for death to deal with.
(After testing against Ant I'm not so sure)

For master of light Xdude I think we should go with Earthquake Golem.  Some lucky draws could steal that match for us.

i think you are right, plastiqe

but - just tested time vs fire with coke, and she suggests jmizzle to come with antimatters, maxwells, etc., maybe also pillarless with 3-4 deflags is the way to go there, or also poison-bolt, and play graboids against the other entropy, and golem against poison

sounds reasonable.  I was just lookin at the non-immolation deck as it will feed bonewalls less due to destroying my own creatures.  I will try out the pheonix one instead.

Id imagine master of entropy is likely to have supernovas, and that two other decks would be rainbows.  I'd think entropy/dark with antimatter/liquid shadow and werewolves are likely to exist as well.

If I'm entropy against fire, I'm wary of creatureless fire bolt, which would push me towards rainbow with reflective shields.

If I'm up against such a rainbow with my rainbow (which means I'm less afraid of discord), why should I load up on deflags?

More food for discussion: should plastiqe and I try to play at the same time?  We should assume entropy is likely to send two similar decks against us, no?  If both matches occur at the same time, neither team will adjust based on knowledge shares between teammates.
