Phoenix, Dragons, Deflags, Rage Pots, maybe some Fire Spirits... could make a decent mono fire creature rush.

not with everything, but it works pretty well (against AI3 at least, also nice for the metagame, opponents will exspect deflags and maybe also cremation (so no pillars) and - thats my opinion - its not easy to play earthquakes in decks against us, and massive permanents or not a single one. we shouldnt play against entropy, cause of antimatters and demons.

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f7 5f7 5f7 5f7 5fc 5fc

still no suggestions how to improve gravity-earth, and IF we should do that.
Ran this deck today.
VS. AI3 it went 19:2 with the losses against an aether/time deck with eggs that popped fast and big, the other loss vs a life/air deck with fireflies and a hope.

In PVP1 I went 9:2 with the losses vs a rainbow deck and an entropy deck with antimatter's and maxwell's demon.

This deck seemed much faster than the fire/entropy one yesterday.  Hope this helps with setting the final Vault.  Looks like we only have about 20hrs or so to finalize  it.

thank you for testing.

im still not sure, if we should keep the gravity-fire deck, and i still need your opinion on the decks, i posted: the dragon-fahrenheit one, like corrum did, the flying owls eye - and if you have the amount of owls eyes, maybe the discord one or a better idea for a working gravity fire deck.

i though a bit about our opponent (ill post a thread with my suggestions after vault is done), and i couldnt find an element, i would take the gravity-fire deck as first choice.

atm we have (and thats for sure)
1 fractal-phoenix
1 nova-graboid
1 rainbow phoenix
1 rainbow golem
1 earthquake golem
1 poison bolt
2 mono red bolt

and 3 from those
? 2 dragon-fahrenheit (more feedback!)
? 1 fire gravity (need ideas!)
? 1 flying owls eye (need feedback and info about amount of oes)
? 1 unstable gas (need ideas!)

atm i would tend to take 2x the dragon fahrenheit (cause i think, it is a deck perfectly fits in, when thinking of fire they will exspect deflags, anti-creature cards, maybe firestorms, and maybe also phoenix' so maybe a bit less creature removal, at least - against some elements - we could beat them just by raw power, cause i dont exspect many aether-splashes (for dimensional shields) or earth-splashes (for earthquakes) against us.) and as third deck - i dont know/no opinion

im also willed to change my mind, but i need input, fast, or ill set up vault tomorrow on my own  :D

If corrum went 19:2 against AI3 with the dragon farenheit deck, I'd say go with that.  I don't think the gravity/fire or the unstable gas decks can compete with those numbers.  The owl eye deck might work, too, but it hasn't been tested as much.  For the record I only have three unupped farenheits, so I'd be unable to use the dragon farenheit deck as is.  Maybe I'd put a nymph in place of the fourth.  Do we think that deck needs four?  Since they're not flying, we only have extras as protection against deflag/steal/etc.

So the question is whether to have in the vault two or three dragon farenheit deckss.  Without them, we use 8 decks (241 cards).  Two dragon farenheits leaves us with 59 free cards, three leaves us with only 29 free cards.  If we only had 29, we'd have to take only opportunistic cards (and marks and maybe nymphs), and the strategy of trying to steal cards we're missing to rebuild our favorite decks goes by the wayside.

I know it's pretty late to be bringing this up, but have we thought about how best to use opportunistic cards (ie. holy flash and purify)?  Were they replacements for cards in the rainbow decks only, or should we have thought about building fire/light and fire/water decks specifically for those matchups?

purify and holy light will both only find their use in our rainbows, because also with 18 cards, we cant be sure playing against archedecktypes. we will also take reflective shields.
atm i thought of:
4 holy light
2 purify
3 reflective shield
6 marks (cause plastiqe and i should also get league rewards, maybe we then have 3 marks each, and it could be a huge advantage against earth, and i dont know what kevkev will chose as reward, if we get rare cards)
6 sundials (for master-deck variation with reflective shield in a bolt deck) - could be taken out for more important things
4 burning pillars
1 reverse time
1 lightning
2 momentum

IF we used the maximum amount of deflags in our 11 decks, if not then -1 holy light and -1 reflective shield for deflags.

and as replacement for a fahrenheit in this deck, maybe a single deflag. im not sure of taking even a single nymph in vault, maybe one :)

any suggestions to our 29 additional cards and my thoughts so far?

still NEED at least one working deck.

a similar deck to the first one (the poison deck) we already have, and also your second deck is familar with 2 of our decks, to your mentioned deck, there is the problem, we have to use 50% fire cards, and the novas are better used in our graboids deck.

the whole problem is, that we need 11 decks, with each 50% fire cards and not more than 18 of a single fire card for all decks.

i tested this one, it could work AND it is an anti-deck against aether, we could use it for that. what do you think?

Haven't tested but think it could kick ass:

Aether Mark
4 Phase Shields
1 Lobo
3 Quints
7 Aether pillars
6 Fire spirits
2 Deflags
6 Fire pillars
1 Firestorm

Or a variation of that.  Wish I had time to test.

ill try to test it now :)

replaced the firestorm with a burning pillar, and it seems fine, at the first glance. even against a shriekerrush deck (i just tested) it could work very good, you dont need that much amout of quantum (only early), a quinted spirit and 1-2 shields win the game. i think we should use it instead of the gravity-fire one

I did the same (replaced FS w/a fire pillar) and then replaced an aether pillar w/a fire pillar.  I was short fire a lot which might have been coincidence but I think the spirits are fire hungry.

Couldn't test much but after those changes I was 5-1 against AI3.  ^-^
