ARGL, they changed rules to 1+4+1 (now 1 member more and a substitute) - which i like, welcome the great player and deck-builder plastiqe, im still searching for a substitute - but vault to 300! (and still 12 of fire/ 6 of other).

no we should think again over it, and go to test-phase again.

kami will be online soon, i think, just weekend-inactive ^^

we only can use 6 per non-fire card, so 2nd time graboids dont work :( with the increased vault, it next to impossible to build more decks, we just can add cards we already use but not 12 times, and hope we can add others (we will win) for addiditonal decks, or try to make a 6th (that was planned) deck and a 7th, maybe also a 8th one.

Rule changes: 360 cards total, 6 players per team, max 18 fire cards, max 6 non-fire cards, max 30 cards lost per match (high cost cards go first).

Possible new strategy: 36 card decks with 6 immolations and no pillars.  If we lose and opponent doesn't steal our immos, we get to keep them.  That means we can build a ton of decks around the card.

Also, Antagon and I were discussing the possible replacement of werewolves w/discords in these immo or nova decks.  It'd mean we'd have to draw 3 immos/novas before using the card rather than 2, but the weapon is a game changer against a bunch of decks.  If you have time, I'd love to hear other opinions.

I'd love to hear opinions on both these ideas, actually.

That sounds workable.  I am testing a fire entropy deck.  Can yall look at it and give some suggestions for tweaking.

the idea is to have small creature to spam out and then either mutate em or butterfly them.

I really like the idea of a fire/entropy deck.

I'm afraid this one is pillar heavy, though.  See SG's Quanta Index thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5676.0.html).  Also, unupgraded mutation is kinda weak.  If you use it on werewolves, for instance, it'll usually either kill it or produce a 5/5 creature, which is weaker than lycanthropy.  I'd also recommend any fire/entropy decks have two discords.

I tested this one once and lost. :(

Well, I did post this asking for suggestions on how to tweak it.  The mutations are not intended for the lycanthropes but for the ash eaters, they benefit from this much more.  Also, the mutations work well offensively on opposing creatures that can be troublesome.  I will check out that thread and see if I can tweak the pillar ratio.

ill test your or a similar entropy-fire deck next, tested the last hours the poison-red deck and i think its great! i love it!

im testing atm using a single bonewall instead of the fire shield, not sure about that.

we still need one in our team, should have at least 3 fahrenheits and 2 arsenics (maybe a vamp dagger so far), enough electrum for buying decks, we build, the time for this event and maybe also pvp experience.

My experience, I tried using Bonewall and it didn't work.  Death strat is:  A) play Aresenic before Poison & B) play poison ASAP.  In 9/10 games it'll be over before you manage to save up another 7 death quanta after you play all your poison cards.

Fire/Entropy I think has promise but I disagree on the small creature spam strat.  We gotta be sure we get the most out of our choice of mark and picking darkness mark to support only two Werewolves isn't effective. 

For mono fire I've played that decktype a lot and I like to run 4x or 5x Dragons.  This is a very flexible deck.

I tried the Earth/Fire deck and I found that without an early Earthquake the Golems feel really flimsy.  I tried versions with mark of Earth and added Rage Pots for extra control and that seemed to help.  EQ is a powerful card in this format so we should try to take advantage but I feel it works best in a deck with other control cards to lock down anything the opponent does manage to get out.

Here's some other ideas I've been toying with:
Fire/Aether control with Phase Shields.
Fire/Aether aggro with Lightning & Quintessence.
Fire/Time with Reverse Times.
Fire/Water with Freeze/Ice Shield.
Fire/Darkness with Devourers.
