*edit* and just an update from chat, if someone doesnt have the time to play, ANY player of the team will get the rights to be his substitute (with his deck) and play against the opponent. it was my idea and now im very proud of me, i hope ill be proud of the team after round1 and i hope noone of us forces us to use this rule.

sorry i didnt say anything, yeah im fine with the golem rush, just wish it was all upgraded lol, thats going to be my only problem through this, im not used to un upped deck play.

i was busy the last two days getting everything done so i would be fully available for play, getting contact, shopping, cleaning house, mowing, didnt really have time to get on the pc.

anyone up for poisoning xdude ? i was hoping on winnin my first round =( not face a master its like the squire vs a full fledged knight =(

Syco, the only differences between you and xdude are he gets 6 upgraded cards and you have a much, much better base element.  You're gonna mop the floor with him.

Playing some AI3 games in trainer against the light mark guy would be valuable in helping you learn the unupgraded deck play.  It's helped me and I intend to play some more.

its not only the base element, its the meta-game

you dont exspect fire to have earthquakes and you dont exspect fire (cause many see us only using immolation decks) to be able to play creatures again after rewinding, for example, BUT they exspect fire shields, rain of fire, deflagrations and many more.

i think xdude isnt dull, but at least the deck should surprise him.

it is fast, doesnt relies on bolts, attacks opponents pillars and - i think - has moderate to good chances to win this game.

Given that plastiqe took out the fire shield, syco could add it...

I agree that its pretty unlikely xdude is using fractal RoL hope cuz its too predictable, but fire shield might be good to have on hand.  If he DID up RoL, earthquake is less useful.   He might not have splashed perm control and syco's deck has almost zero creature control.

if he really plays rol-fractal, his aether-pillars are the weakness for the earthquakes and he dont have any creature control, golems go over low shields with ease, the rain of fire is pretty an auto-win (50% to draw it in time) and i think against every other light-deck, fire shield is a dead card.

gah annoying, xdude messaged me today and said he cant duel me today or tomorrow =( i sent him my work schedule in military time and let him know im GMT-6 so hopefully we work out a time, id be sad not to face such a challenge =(
