Thanks! This was a fun win, EMd but waited til the last card just to heal. Needs more Nymph Tears I guess. I put 4 SoF and 4 SoP.

I only played one game with this deck, but it was so easy that I think it'll work most times.

The shards of patience are crucial, so don't try to build it without those.  You don't even really need the shards of focus, but they make good overdrive targets and can get rid of eagle's eyes.  It would probably work unupped just as well, even the otyughs, as long as you've got shards of patience.  If you lack the nymphs (I added them so I could EM while keeping my creatures behind SoP until I'd healed to full) just add more overdrives or SoPs, or even nothing at all, to shrink the deck.  You could use shield // tower shield to reduce attackers damage, to buy more time, and with all fire queen's creatures being 3-4 attack, even the unupped shield takes a decent chunk out of that.

To take a hint from Swallow, if you don't have the nymphs, try a couple nymph's tears. You have no use for water quanta once you've gotten a SoP in play, so you might as well NT for the EM.

Hmm...  I didn't have any luck with this modified version of Swallow:

A few thoughts on your particular deck against FQ:

You probably don't need six SoPs since FQ has no PC and FQ will give you low-HP creatures to nom if you don't draw a SoP fast enough. 3-4 should be plenty.

You also don't really need the purify, as there's no poison to worry about.

Getting down to 30 cards is probably smart here so you can draw your useful cards quicker. Going up to six otys should hopefully help with getting creatures taken care of sooner, which would be basically taken care of by removing the extraneous water cards.

Either an additional gravity force or two or a permafrost shield or two could also be extremely useful for buying you time at the beginning in order to get the combo set up. If you add permafrosts, though, you'd probably want to swap some gravy towers back to pends in order to get the shield out early enough in the game for it to be worthwhile.

While I realize I'm the person who recommend NTs in the first place, NTs aren't really all *that* helpful (though I still think they're better than actual gravy nymphs for swallow) since FQ only has a few types of quanta. Dropping down to one NT could help a lot if you decide to add a permafrost or two.

kinda accidentally, but whatever works. Used the Squids to freeze all the creatures to oblivion, and SoP boosted to the OHKO. Just gotta make sure to keep enough quanta to freeze everything. (2 for each creature about to unfreeze, then an additional 4 in case of double creature play)

I have done some testing on majofa's 500HP idea with the change I suggested above, i.e. the modded deck I used:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5lk 5lk 5lk 77e 77e 77e 77k 77k 77k 77k 77k 77k 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7am 7am 7am 7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7ap 7hi 7hi 7hi 7hi 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 8pp

It is a bit iffy on the draw, RNG can screw you bad on this deck, but if you get a good draw it works very nicely and gives you the 500hp EM.

You need to get the SoPa growth going fast, otherwise EE will destroy you. That's why I added a 4th SoPa, because you need one fast. EP's damage takes some time to rev up and you only need a 3 RoL hope-shield to block most of it (except EE/fahren), so you can take some damage and heal back later with the bonds. This means, if you don't have SoPa in hand it may be better to wait for it and hold back some RoLs. If he kills them all, you are toast.
Roses aren't red, Violets aren't blue.
They are just a simulation, and so are you!

Just had an easy 500hp EM against Fire Queen with this deck.  Only half my deck was upgraded, and I think this would work pretty well mostly un-upgraded.

Essentials for upgraded cards are the Gnome Gemfinder and the Ray of Light.  Next priority are the emerald towers, and then Mitosis; or possibly the Shard of Patience (none of my shards were upgraded, and I didn't feel like it slowed me down).  Having upgraded Feral Bond or Stone Skin doesn't really matter - especially Stone Skin, the extra quanta cost won't slow you down.

I only had upgraded 1 of 6 Stone Skin, 5 of 7 Emerald Towers,   2 of 5 Mitosis, and none of the Shards, and did just fine.  I guess I did have a perfect opening hand though  :P

I have done some testing on majofa's 500HP idea with the change I suggested above, i.e. the modded deck I used:

Do you know how to play it? You wait until you have about half HP left, start chaining Dims. Once FQ's field is full of Fireflies, you make sure your hand is empty except for the combo cards, Shockwave two different FFQ's, Fractal the Vultures, play Rain of Fire and Sky Blitz. Done.

Aether is the prime Element present in all things, providing space, connection and balance for all Elements to exist.
Aether represents the sense of joy and union, and the ultimate potential of all things.
