FWIW, while traditional RoL/hope works, the SoP variant is more resilient against eagle eye spam and can completely ignore FQ's healing.

Weird scene:

My 3 SoPs were all among the last 6 cards.
And my Lobo was also late. So many RoLs got killed...

At the same time, Fire Queen didn't draw her Queens in her first 20+ cards.  :P

I only played one game with this deck, but it was so easy that I think it'll work most times.

The shards of patience are crucial, so don't try to build it without those.  You don't even really need the shards of focus, but they make good overdrive targets and can get rid of eagle's eyes.  It would probably work unupped just as well, even the otyughs, as long as you've got shards of patience.  If you lack the nymphs (I added them so I could EM while keeping my creatures behind SoP until I'd healed to full) just add more overdrives or SoPs, or even nothing at all, to shrink the deck.  You could use shield // tower shield to reduce attackers damage, to buy more time, and with all fire queen's creatures being 3-4 attack, even the unupped shield takes a decent chunk out of that.

To take a hint from Swallow, if you don't have the nymphs, try a couple nymph's tears. You have no use for water quanta once you've gotten a SoP in play, so you might as well NT for the EM.

OP Upped Dragons was scary to play. I had 0 cards left when I finally won, and only won because I drew my last Cloak just in time with my Hourglass. Bottom decked 1 Hourglass underneath the last Cloak...

Yeah, I've seen a lot of pretty poor performances by that deck. It works, but it works a lot less well than other options, and is more capable of failing due to bad draws (or due to good FQ draws) than I'd really like.

FWIW, SoP/RoL/hope is the thing that I've had the best win/EM rate with in upped land, though I imagine that an upped version of the unupped deck with the addition of miracle/heal would wind up doing about as well.

I use the fractal-vulture-RoF deck in upped form with a miracle+heal just as you said and it works pretty reliable.
BTW, I tried the Otyugh-deck in trainer as suggested by dragonsdemesne above and had bad luck with it: got 4 losses in 5 tries (not a big sample, I know). Trouble was always caused by Eagle-eye coming out before I found SoP to buff the Otyugh. Even with SoP coming at the same time if you don't have extra Otyughs in play -- 1 shot per turn takes down 3HP, while SoP only add 2, so its losing battle. The 1 time it worked I had SoP + multiple Otyugh out before FQ played the EE, and it was also flown so I could eat it. So it seems you may need more SoP to make sure you draw one early.

Seems like too much water quanta and not enough life. How about water mark and life towers ?

Thanks! This was a fun win, EMd but waited til the last card just to heal. Needs more Nymph Tears I guess. I put 4 SoF and 4 SoP.

I only played one game with this deck, but it was so easy that I think it'll work most times.
