Took this for a whirl today; worked like a charm, even with my slow start (had to use the Bonewall + one of the Rain of Fires in the beginning because I wasn't getting any Sundials or Dim Shield).

Threw this together with what I had. It definitely worked, and a dragon-bow could probably work fully unupped and rareless too. Perhaps this?

Skeptical about the golden dragon. 12 quanta seems a lot. Of course, I'm just saying that based on looking at it and not testing, but I would rather use a air or water dragon instead. I'm also not sure if there will be enough quanta for the unupped hourglasses.

Today it wasn't an EM because i didn't get my shields (not even in the end) but i still won.

Only the Ray of Lights must be upgraded, the others are just little bonuses.

I improved my latest posted RoL/Hope deck, and got an easy EM today with a semi-upped CrusaderHope deck. Here is the deck:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5lk 5lk 5lk 5lm 61o 61o 622 622 622 622 622 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7k2 7k4 7k5 7k5 808 808 808 808 80e 80e 80e 8pu

Now this deck is 2-0 versus Fire Queen, and 1 EM out of 2 battles. Simple, the sanctuary will heal you up to max HP, while Fire Queen doesn't have any PC. The miracle is not important, but it helps a lot in getting an EM.

Strategy:
1.Get your lobotomizer/electrocutor out fast, so you can lobotomize FFQs and EEs, so you can deny Fire Queen of any fire quanta or CC (Eagle Eyes).
2.Fractal a RoL and get your shield up.
3.The max damage you have to block is 7, so that is the minimum number of RoLs you have to fractal + the ones that were to replace the sniped RoLs.
4.After you are safe, just fractal your crusaders.
5.One crusader endows your lobo/elec, all the other crusaders endow an Eagle's Eye so they will have 10 attack.

i beat FQ today with a modified Fire Lance Sudden Killer anti-FG deck

the deck :-
(http://helltgivre.free.fr/elements/?mark=4su&deck=z36rnz77dgz67dkz47f2z2808z680dz380e)
Quote
6rn 6rn 6rn 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 808 808 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80e 80e 80e
the weapons are unnecessary as long as you get phase shield chain in time (start as late as possible but dont dip too low or she will bolt you to death instead, 18th card left at the earliest for best effect), same with SoGs

for all unupped, un-rares, i'd go with something like this :-
(http://helltgivre.free.fr/elements/?mark=4su&deck=z95f05f0z65f4z55giz461oz661t)
Quote
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t
wont give you EM but it is very cheap and very newbie friendly, just be careful of getting bolted in the face yourself
used the unupped deck, but got slightly unlucky.....
FML. no shield.
I don't think these work any more from the new quanta limit...

No, they don't. Which is why they're not in the OP.

Late reply, sorry.

You might be right, the last dragon is more of a toss up between damage and cost. The higher cost doesn't make much of a difference except in games where you have low quanta early. If you're worried about that, though, you could swap it for a 9 attack dragon.

Managed to win with the fractal vulture deck, even though my last card was a vulture.

Pretty good deck, had 3 turns left on my phase shield

Used this today:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink

52h 5v2 5v2 5v2 61t 61t 61t 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 77f 77f 7ad 7dq 7h2 7q5 7q5 7q5 80d 80d 8pj

I feel the Lava Destroyer and Steam Machine combo works better than the dragons. These can survive Fire Queen's CC much better than the dragons if you don't get cloak (once the Destroyer is out for a few turns it is pretty much home free) and they can actually beat the healing if you don't get phase shields. Wasn't sure what to replace the Ivory and Jade dragons with so just kept them but maybe an Elite Queen would work.
