I use this deck against Fire Queen. Works very well but i think cant get EM very often. And its slow, for sure.

The strategy seems pretty obvious for explain it. You probably finish the game with about 93 lives.

This deck failed so goddamn hard. I HAD to start chaining shields at 19 cards left, because he just had to much damage on the field.
With help of fireflies he finished me with firebotls with me having 50 quanta... (I had a fully upped deck btw)

We need a more reliable counter :p Not saying I can do better though.

Well the Fire Bolt decks are pretty much used for people who don't have electrum/rares to build a reliable Fake God Killer, you could probably build a much better deck with upgrades. Also, Diamond Shield or Permafrost work wonders

Ya, if I was using an upped/rare deck, I would definitely include either a Lobotomizer or a Pulverizer.

Second (Unupped) deck in the first post has too many pendulums, you end up with way too much excess Aether quanta in the midgame. I'd suggest replacing some of the Pendulums with Fire Pillars, you can usually afford to wait the first several turns without putting up Shields anyway -- Fire Queen has been a consistent slow starter every time I've played her.

-1 Pendulum, +1 Pillar might even be better. -1 Pend +1 Fahren would help the deck a lot.

Just start chaining when you would be filled with yellow next turn (generally 17-19 cards) and chain until the end. The only real weakness is not drawing shields, and I was surprised to see that didn't happen.
