Alternative deck.  Un-upgraded would be pretty useless.

Code: [Select]
6rn 6rn 74d 74d 778 778 778 778 778 778 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77a 77c 77c 77c 77e 77e 77e 77e 77f 77f 77f 78q 78q 78q 78qDiamond blocks out the majority of damage.  Use Pulls on flying weapons.  Pulvy for Emerald Towers, weapons, and bonds.  Adding an Animate Weapon or two might also work.  I had a lot :earth at the end, so SSs or BBs in place of Gnomes might also work.

(I used the wrong type of Pends but still won.)

I've tested the sudden killer in the opening post but it's been a pretty consistent loser for me against FFQ.  If you wait too long to chain shields you get bolted to death, but if you chain shields too early you run out before you can find 113 :fire quanta.  With that deck you either need FQ to have a slow start or you need to start with plenty of fire pillars and hope to get lucky in drawing shields.

I built this as an alternative:
Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55p 55p 55r 55r 55r 55r 55u 55u 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 621 621 621 621It went 2-0 (hooray for large sample size!) though I ended both matches with <15 hp.  Get out a quinted oty and a shield ASAP.  Don't quint more than two otys, instead leave them as bait to be lanced.  Use lightnings early to kill an FFQ if you can't find a quint or oty early, mid-game to brings FFQ within Oty's range, or late game for damage.

You end up with way too much fire quanta.  I considered a gravity mark and dragons instead of fire eaters.  That may be the way to go.

I tried this one with upped Aether towers, Aether mark, and phase dragons instead of fire eaters, and two upped otys,  but i never drew an oty fast enough and got rushed to death even though i had my shield up and killed a FFQ

i beat FQ today with a modified Fire Lance Sudden Killer anti-FG deck

the deck :-
(http://helltgivre.free.fr/elements/?mark=4su&deck=z36rnz77dgz67dkz47f2z2808z680dz380e)
Quote
6rn 6rn 6rn 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 808 808 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80e 80e 80e
the weapons are unnecessary as long as you get phase shield chain in time (start as late as possible but dont dip too low or she will bolt you to death instead, 18th card left at the earliest for best effect), same with SoGs

for all unupped, un-rares, i'd go with something like this :-
(http://helltgivre.free.fr/elements/?mark=4su&deck=z95f05f0z65f4z55giz461oz661t)
Quote
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t
wont give you EM but it is very cheap and very newbie friendly, just be careful of getting bolted in the face yourself
used the unupped deck, but got slightly unlucky.....
FML. no shield.

After trying kevkev's deck, I completely locked Fire Queen with an Otyugh but... I got no damage. Fire Queen finished me with an Eagle's Eye. I didn't draw the Firemasters... and I should have added some SoG.

Moar damage ^^ Good deck, apart from that.
Went AWOL. No reason.
Now silent. May return.

umm.... What?...

She has fire quanta(hence the name). How did she get a Fahrenheit on the field? There is an Air :air card named "Flying Weapon" that turns a weapon into a creature.

I made this deck that is really effective against her
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52l 52l 52l 52l 52p 52p 52p 52q 52s 52s 52s 52s 52s 52s 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 717 717 717 7ta 7ta
this deck works really well and you can get an EM if you take out a few pillars and put in a bonewall just as you plague the malignant cells. this works well with unupped graveyards and eclipse as well. i had one turn left but it took three turns to kill her.
