Looks like a cool little card that is fun to use, but unnecessary for the fire element.

Any dual cards are good, and fire had the fewest cards.
At this point, none of the elements "need" new cards more than the other.
But the game is more fun with a slow influx of new stuff.

Brilliant fire nerf, causing fire players to suffer the burden of "too much choice".  Soon, fire will start coming in 2nd place instead of 1st place in wars, as its players take too long trying to decide between "10|1 for 9 :fire" or "7|1 for 7 :fire" and forfeit their turns, letting the AI make stupid moves for them.

Hmm?  This is nothing close to a nerf.  It's a fun new card that adds some more spice into the game.  It's great that we are getting new cards into the game, not just shards.

At least something I can agree. Would be even better if it was in fact adding something new instead of just 'art' and a replacement to an already not used dragon. But its not a shard, wow, Im happy about this.

Will this card be considered immortal to that aether shard effect?

Yes. You can target Seraph when you have activated Divine Shield, but its attack returns to physical after one turn of spell attack. So essentially you get the buff benefit (which is huge for a creature you can summon with Cremation and one Tower), but you don't get the mini-momentum effect beyond one turn. It's nice to play lots of SoW's during one turn anyway, so it doesn't matter much.

Mini-momentum? Lol, keeping the spell attack makes it a bit weaker, in fact. Fire has Explosion and can handle with shields like dusk mantle and dim shield, while the reflective ones are imaterial, at least. My feeling is that this will be a broken combo.

Congratz, zanz, nerfed Fire cards just before giving it a good buff, heh? Clap, clap, clap.

I would suggest this skill auto draining 1  :light per turn, but now Im not convinced its enough to balance it.

Edit: again, should this one really belong to fire?  :'(

What? Okay, first.. it doesn't keep the spell attack. Secondly, no. It wouldn't make it weaker at all. If you've ever played (against) something like Ghostal, you'd know that even Explosions aren't enough for all the permanents in play. Thirdly, that point is moot because if you pack SoW and Seraph, you don't really need PC at all. If you run into reflective shields (which you really never do in competitive PvP), you just don't play SoW and.. that's that.

Play around with it and you'll notice the only actual effect Seraph has on the meta is that you might possibly bring faster CC to PvP. Just maybe.

You seem to have delusions about the developer's intentions, and in your numerous recent posts they're starting to annoy me. You're bordering on bashing and you need to stop.
