I have two minds on this card.  I Love it.  It straight rapes spamming decks at a relatively low cost. With bonewalls it is a part of what can possibly be the best 2 card combo out there.  On the other hand i hate this card.  It is so powerful.  It can clear a full board for only 7 quanta (5 if upped) it seems to me that it is possibly the most unbalanced card in the game right now.

I wouldn't say that this is overpowered.  There are some situations where this can provide an extreme card advantage but it really depends on what your opponent is playing.  Identifing when you're going to get the most bang for your buck is the trick to playing with Rain of Fire.

And hey, if you put out a whole slew of creatures against somebody with 7 (or 5) fire quanta then you're asking for it.  : P

This card is great against a lot of basic creatures like Oty and Shriekers but it can't take down their elite versions. Nice against elite frogs though

This card saved me from losing alot of times. With the quantam cost lower,I can win faster.
Its a great card if your opponent has his field full of fireflys, and you have a bonewall, graveyard and maybe 3 or 1 condors in play.
Imagine the ammount of bonewalls,Elite Skeletons and the attack of the condor.

Upgraded version of this card is very overwhelming at most times. and this card singlehandedly shuts down RoL/Hope decks

I both love and HATE this card.  Depends on who is using it.

I sometimes find that it would be useful to ROF my own hand (malignant cell, build bone wall, etc).  Is there any way for that to be possible?

The only way to hit multiple of your own creatures is with Unstable Gas or un-upgraded Pandemonium.

I understand that's how the game works right now.  I was just wondering what everybody else thought of this idea.  I thought that it would be better to post ideas about this card in the card's topic instead of starting a new one.

Because of the card "Cloak", the card text has changed in 1.26:

" Deals 3 damage to every enemy creature. Removes invisibility"

suddenly very standard in arena decks.  seeing it used in every arena deck capable of fire.

Yeah. Of course, I'm wondering how well its known that if you firestorm a field of three 2/3 vultures and two 1/1 cats, you're left with a 6/4 vulture because the deaths don't actually happen all at once but 1-2 at a time. So there's something to exploit in making an anti-fire deck, I'm trying to figure out if thats intentional or not.

I do think it would be cool to be able to target a side of the field for RoF to hit.

I'm confused about hitting the invisible creatures... What exactly is invisible in this game?

Anything under a cloak.

Does that mean it just gets rid of the card "Cloak"?  Sorry just read top post and that's what it seems.  Was hoping it could hit "untargetable" targets lol

Yes it does hit cloaked units, and no it doesn't hit untargetable units (immortals, for example)

Ya i was hoping for the same too. But sadly if this happens I am pretty sure there will be a nerf somewhere again.

A really good card cause it can quickly kill a lot of creatures.

This card just ruins my darkness deck by killing all my un-upped mana stealers. If they were upped, then that would not be as much of a problem, but upping them takes forever and makes such a tiny difference.
It also wrecks life's poison charge.
