Not even a card as good as this can carry shock through War.

Another versatile fire card, these are great because they can be creature control and a win condition.  If you're like me and don't want to be doing math while you play, check out the Fire Element Damage Tables (http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Element_damage).

Also note that if your opponent puts up a reflective shield, you can put up your own reflective shield and bounce fire bolts onto your opponent.

I disagree. While I can see it's uses and why it is there. I find it very frustrating that I have just lost 3 matches in a row because I had 100 health and my oponent just spammed 6 of these against me, making them win.

but you see his deck so far, and you know that is a possibility, so you can prepare. maybe you applied too less pressure on your opponent.

You should be able to tell if they have that deck and try to make sure you force them into using them against your creatures.

a quick question the quanta count, does it happen before u use this or is it after?

if u have 11 quanta, u use it, it becomes 8, but will it hit twice or just once?

quanta totals are considered before quanta consumption.

Example: 11 quanta gives 3+3=6 damage.

pity now it does not work that way anymore.... since the quanta cap is fixed at 75 quanta, fire lance has been considerably nerfed.... it can deal at most 20+ damage only....
