Starting With PvP From the Beginning
First:
We are going to want to pick a element that has good CC (Creature Control), Defensive Cards, Offensive Cards, and Utility Cards. I chose fire because, it matches those specifications almost spot on. The beginning deck is pretty horrible, and not worth but possibly the level 0 computer (but we are better than that, aren't we?)
This is the beginning deck:
Spoiler for Hidden:

You will want to take out and sell:
  • 3X Sapphire Pillar
  • 1X Freeze
  • 1X Blue Crawler
  • 1X Purify
  • 3X Immolation
  • 1X Ash Eater
After you remove those cards from your deck, and they are sold we need to purchase 4 Burning Pillars, and 2 Crimson Dragons from the Bazaar, and place them in our deck. Now take out the 3 Quantum Pillars, (but don't sell these in case you want to make a 'rainbow' deck in the future) and 3 Ash Eaters, and then of course sell them!
Now click on 'Quest' and complete the first quest (which is to battle a level 0 computer). After this is completed turn in the first THREE quests (the second and third were to buy and sell from the bazaar).
Now that you have some more Electrum (money) buy 1 Crimson Dragon and place it in your deck, replacing a Fire Spirit (which you sell to the Bazaar), leaving you with a total of 4 dragons! Now buy 2 Deflagrations, and replace it with the last remaining Fire Spirit and dagger, which you sell of course!

Congrats! You now have a simple and basic fire/PvP deck!

So now that you have this finish up the next two quests and buy a single Crimson Dragon and put it in the place of a Deflagration (but don't sell it, you might want to  use it in the future tweaking the deck for your own playstyle) until you come to the 500 point quest. This is where PvP comes in!

Strategy isn't too difficult, but of course changes every fight, so im going to do a strategy for each card, and when you can use them.

Fire Pillar: Of course play that as much as possible and immediately
Crimson Dragon: This is your main damage dealer. It is very frail, so sometimes only expect  it to last a sing turn. So play wise, and careful. You will learn appropriate times through experience, but most of the time you play it immediately
Fire Bolt This is the card that will win you tons of games, only play it when you have tons of quantums and can destroy your opponents  HP, or killing a really dangerous creature. This is so useful when your opponent has tons of CC and you have no dragons left, wait till you have enough quantums and take 'em out. The Wiki damage comes in tons of use in close games http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Element_damage
Fire Shield This is one of your two CC cards, it works wonders on small, and powerful creatures (such as crimson dragons, or shrieker decks (another rush deck)) Play it often, but if your opponent might be able to steal it, make sure you have a deflagration in your hand to take it out. It will destroy this deck.
Deflagration This is your permanent control card. Use it to take out nasty weapons, or shields. Sometimes you want to use it to take pillars out, but only on VERY rare occasions. Learn your opponents deck through experience, and you will learn the right times to destroy what.
Rain of Fire Your main CC card. use it when there are several small or semi-small creatures on the deck to take them out, or to get them lower for your fire shield to finish them off.

Once you reach, and complete the 500 point quest now is the time to decide what to do. Having tons of fun PvP'ing? Pick Fahrenheit. If not look at Plastiqe's really good thread. http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3522.0.html

Want to continue to PvP? Well once you have a few thousand electrum now is the time to upgrade cards.
First you want to upgrade your towers. that is very essential. After a few are upgraded, you can take a few normal pillars out and put more defensive/CC cards in there. After the pillars are upgraded, you are on your own. By now you have good experience with this deck, and know what cards  you need to upgrade to match your play style.

Id like to give credit to Plastiqe's other post http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,989.0.html for the deck. I didn't see it until I was ready to submit this.

My un-upped deck for PvP is: I have a aprox. 80-95% win rate. I don't lose, except to quantum killing decks, or one able to CC my dragons and heal fast.

Like I said this deck is just a general layout. Change it a little, to fit you better. And as always have fun. If youve played several hundred PvP games, and  just downright hate it. Do something else! I didn't progress through PvP for more money (although I'm convinced that I did earn more money through more card spins and more electrum per round. that I would have just grinding AI 3's), I did it because I thought it was so much more fun and interesting than just grinding to to several thousand electrum, get a FG deck and start grinding those. Its a game, have fun!

Nice post bstar11.  Generally when I play unupgraded mono fire these days I use something like this:
Code: [Select]
4so 4so 4so 4so 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5f8 5f8 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fcFor someone starting out I would definitely recommend Phoenix over Crimson Dragons because they're so much more durable.

HOw nessessary is rain of fire and fire shield? MY personal preference is to leave them out for more speed (6 if the phoenix/dragon instead of five and only 30 cards for dragons and another pillar for phonix).

Yeah I know I'm just showing off.  : P

Also count those as proof that starting out with pvp pays off.
