How exactly is the deck good?Rage potions seem like it can be used as creature killers, but fire pendulums?

If you have 1 Burning Pillar and 2 Fire Pendulums on the field then Earthquake will only destroy a maximum of 2 versus 3 of you were using only Pillars. Fortunately Pendulums act the exact same as a Pillar when they match the mark.

You have a 1/12 chance (idk about that..let's say everyone uses mono decks .-.) of playing someone with it.
well what if a darkness deck stole your pendulums?and people tend to use steals more than earthquakes... just playing the devil's advocate here.
in this type of deck it should be immediately apparent that its a simple fire spirit rush from turn 3 or so.
the idea of stealing pendulums is to deny the quanta for them to play those cards in the first place while boosting your own quanta production
