Of the two RP/VD decks submitted under this theme thus far, this is the superior one IMHO...but I don't really see the Dark Ages connection.  Voodoo is way more Pirates of the Caribbean than it is Inquisition.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Inquisition, better Medieval Inquisition mainly consisted of mental and (above all) physical torture; this deck tormenting voodoo dolls, will damage and poison the opponent who will collapse in terrible nightmares. To make sure the elemental did not escape, the inquisitor can use his puryfing-fire sword too...

Read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inquisition . Inquisitions were evil things done by the Church in the name of religion. Looking at the torture methods they used (Google them if you dare), I think that inquisitions were big part of the "Dark" in "Dark Ages".

I think this deck has probably the most unique theme from all the submissions so far and it fits very nicely to this whole "Dark Ages" theme. Unless a miracle happens, this one gets my vote.

I'm very familiar with the Inquisition.  What I'm not seeing is the connection between the name and the cards in the deck.

There were many ways of torture: one of the most atrocious was the research of the so called "devil mark". Inquisitors believed that witches and heretics had an area on their body insensitive to pain (evidence of their dealings with the devil), and to find this invisible satanic mark the tortured body was pierced by hundreds of needels.

Voodoo doll is connectable with this inhuman thing, and moreover it's the only creature that can be tortured (dealing damage to the opponent)

About fire cards, the belief that fire purifies is always rooted in human culture: death sentences were carried out through the inquisitorial bonfire (see Joan of Arc...)

;)
