Anything you can do, Echo can do better. Echo can do anything better than you. By using his massive supply of Mindgates, Echo will copy your cards and use them against you. Like an echo in a cave, reflecting your voice back at you, Echo will reflect your deck back at you. Using nothing but buffing and plain flying weapons, Echo will never be short on quanta. The stronger your deck is, the harder Echo will be. And although an echo isn't as loud as your own voice, Echo's deck won't be as strong since you may have supreme strategy up your sleeve. But can you pull it off before Echo gets enough of your cards to dominate you?

I think Echo needs better weapons (seriously? The other-weapons? Why no eternity/pulverizer/eagle's eye/vampire dagger/poseidon/better weapons). It should also have six mindgate and a few more aether towers.

I suggest to remove all the weapons/other cards and add one mindgate and two aether towers. The remaining spaces should be filled with other rainbow cards which are more usable than flying dirks.

This is what I suggest. Still based on mindgate, still 40 cards, but has better "rainbow" cards than flying garbage.

Alternatively, if you insist on your flying-weapon stuff, please use some silghty better weapons:

This is not a rainbow deck. At all. Or even slightly. Which is why it uses Other weapons. They are completely unused in FG decks and they are only there for some small basic damage. The true power comes from what the Mindgates grab and a few buff cards to beef things up. There is already a rainbow FG, and I wanted to stay away from that.

Still, with five mindgates in a 40 card deck, it will only get one mindgate opening hand, if it's lucky.  So while the player is playing his deck well, this guy is drawing the same cards his opponent is, only matching it, not actually beating it.  The quanta and card advantage will be extreme.  By the time the FG starts to play the opponent's deck, it'll have lost.

What I would do is swap the weapons for twin universes. That will fit the theme as well.

Not to point out the obvious, but FG decks are supposed to be at least mildly optimized, and there's no point at all to using Longbow/Gavel over Longsword in this deck..is there?

Gavel not so much. Longbow helps with anyone using wings, though that wouldn't come up too often. I plan to optimize the deck tomorrow better anyway, so expect a change.
