Let's take a look at the old Elidnis deck.
It's big. BIG. BIG.
It also has no unique card, a card that makes his deck different from the ones of every other False God. It's also dedicated to faildrawing.
Forest Spirits are probably what sets this FG apart from most other FGs. (Expect Rainbow).
Feral Bonds are shared with Fire Queen and Ferox. Also, there is no real reason to put bonds on a god with so little chances of playing more than 5 creatures before it's ready to get its own ass handed back. The various life cards are too little to actually make a difference in such a big deck
(If you're playing Rol/Hope it will have at least a Jade Shield in the opening hand anyway, deal w/ it.
All the Water Cards are already used in Scorpio's and Neptune's deck. The one that gets the "nicest" usage is Ulitharid, which is possibly more a trademark of Elidnis than Forest Spirit.
The Aether cards are just weird. Quintessence on a big spirit may be useful, but PU will usually come after the Quint, so the chances of PU being really useful are low. Phase Dragons have no reasons to be there.
Taking advantage of Pendulums, and some cards that were introduced after Elidnis was, I rebuilt his deck.
