With the change in AI regarding Nightmare, a False God based around the GotP/Nightmare combo is possible.

This God uses massive card control to shut down the player's draws, forcing them to discard. The God racks up damage by playing Ghosts, and from the player discarding them.

A really fun counter deck involving Mindgate could possibly be devised.

Counter deck? Ahhhh, sure... AI wont steal your Mind Gate, huh?

You should test it. Looks awful hard. AI change? I suppose its just in Arena... but even if it works in FGs you think its ok? You will have your draw forbid probably 4 of first 7 rounds. This while being spanked by Ghost and having your life drained by Nightmare / possibly discarding Ghost. If you put something in play, probably will be rewinded or stolen.

Is there a regular FG killer that could have it as good match up?

Yes, PA would be needed. I guess a real counter deck would have to include Sanctuary as well.

As for common God killers, RoL/Hope would be completely shut down (Fractal countered by Nightmare); CCYB would also be (Hourglasses countered by Nightmare), unless it got out an early Sanctuary (similar to fighting Dark Matter); I've GotP Time could in theory have a chance if it shut down the God, but Nightmare would be a problem; and Shak'ars Revenge would be destroyed by Rewind.

So no, this would probably join Hermes, Graviton and all those as all-around horrible False Gods to play against.

Is there a regular FG killer that could have it as good match up?

RoL/Hope with Sancs (standard version is hopeless, no pun intended). You pretty much treat it as Dark Matter and Seism with this one. If you're lucky enough, the AI might even Nightmare the RoLs for you (given that it hasn't/couldn't played any GotPs yet).

Not sure how IGT fares against this, though.

Ah yes, I forgot about the AI using Nightmare on RoL. I imagine it probably would if it couldn't play GotP, and Rewinds wouldn't be a problem until Hope is up. So maybe RoL/Hope + Sancs could have a chance, although Steals would hurt.

Edit: After testing, I don't think the AI Nightmares RoLs, and it often gets out a second turn ghost anyway. I might as well have been fighting Octane.

Actually, patchx94 beat it with upped Antimatter/Liquid Shadow here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,21061.192/topicseen.html). I'm not sure whether that was merely luck or if it would work reliably, but maybe there is a FG grinder that can beat it.

Ah yes, a mono Time with a lot of quanta generation and healing could work. It wouldn't even need any creatures.

I think you could make a trio using a pair or aether pends and some silences F**K YEAH!
