This God has powerful damage, healing and a swarm of creatures. And it does it without pillars.

As you can see, there's a lot going on here: Damselflies produce :air for Elite Fireflies, which produce :fire for Lava Destroyers. Cremation speeds up the process while disposing of excess creatures, and Feral Bonds take advantage of the creature swarm to heal the God for massive amounts.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

When making a Firefly deck in Arena, I noticed I had too many creatures to go pillarless. I had Damsels, Flies and Minor Phoenixes. That's 12x3, which is too much above 23, the max amount of creatures on the board at one time. This will have 4x12 to play, not counting Blights and subtracting by 12 due to Cremations. This is a problem that limits its offensive power, which is already very low at the start of the game. Why is this a problem? Because FG killers are stronger mid- and late-game and most won't have much trouble with this FG.

If you want this FG to be easy-medium, it's fine as is. But if you want the Bonds to be useful, I would suggest adding a shield that reduces damage by at least 2 (such as Jade). As it is, it won't deck out RoL/Hope and often fail against the Pulvy and Permafrost of CCYB. It's more or less a farm for Voodoo decks and decks like IGT won't be terribly bothered (though it will give it some problems). MA is a toss-up, a bit like vs. Elidnis.

It's not supposed to be hard; it's supposed to be fun. If I wanted it to be hard I would add 12 Explosions. And incidentally, it can deck out RoL/Hope as easily as Ferox can.

You're right on most points though. Changed.

No. Ferox plays creatures just as fast, and has both Staff and Shield. He won't Cremate automatically, reducing the number of creatures, and none of his creatures die. The original Empathy had more strength in its rush than its stall, which was inconsistent but had the potential to be slightly faster than Ferox'. Main reason for this is Cremating AM'd Destroyers.

The discussion of difficulty has more to do with keeping the theme, i.e. making Bonds useful. It's obvious it wasn't designed to primarily be hard, but you still have to bring up what level of difficulty you're aiming at, since it's highly relevant to the deck build. Will try the new version too.

Allthough I find this FG interesting and original. I'm not a fan of the 6x this 6 x that decks. This just seems so straightforward it becomes boring. 4 types of creatures, Immo's and Bonds, that's it.

I love a wider variety of cards in FG decks, but I guess that's not the style of Empathy!

Wow, I just noticed how similar the colours in the deck are to those in your avatar. If only the air was water ...

Meh, Divine Glory is even more straightforward.
