As suggested by his name, this god does spell damage. Here's the deck:

Mark:  :aether x3
:aether Aether Tower x16
:aether Aether Pendulum (Upped) x16
:aether Shard of Wisdom (Upped) x12
:aether Elite Phase Dragon x10
:aether Psion (Upped) x8
:aether Quintessence (Upped) x8

Automatically, we can see that a counter to this would be Mirror/Jade Shield.  :)

far far far too easy as an oracle prediction.

This really isn't creative at all. You just made a mono aether deck that uses lots of spell damage.

I guess it is. However, lots of False Gods are easy to beat if predicted by the Oracle. For example, Fire Queen (include a few Lobotomizers), Octane (Steals/Deflagrations), and plenty of other False Gods have strategies easily countered by a certain other strategy, but I agree. This deck would die against a spell shield. Sadly, Mirror and Jade Shield can't be targeted... Suggestions?

oracle makes FGs easier, that's the point, however you can still lose.  With this, there is practically no way you'd lose, especially because the AI would keep playing the shards on phase dragons even if you had the mirror shield out. i'd say take out the shards, that way the damage is split between regular and psion for starters.  having only one element is a bit akward for an FG, and he has no weapons or shields.

Well, since this deck is a mage, it could possibly read the opponent's mind, so putting Mindgates would make sense and it would become a more varied FG overall...

Right now, this is the deck you have (x2 of course):
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 80f 80f 80f 80f 80f 80h 80h 80h 80h 80l 80l 80l 80l 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 8pu

??? = Psion

To sort of solve the mirror/jade problem, I would suggest making it a duo with light, something like this:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 6s5 7k2 7k2 7k2 7k6 7k6 7k6 7k6 7kc 7kc 7kc 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 80f 80f 80h 80h 80h 80h 80l 80l 80l 80l 80l 80s 80s 80s 80s 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 8pq

Again, ???=Psion

In that case, I would switch all the aether towers for more pendulums, since the Miracles will end up eating a lot of light quanta. I think it would do better if the Psions and Quintessences were replaced with a few aether pendulums and another few cards. I'm thinking about something like -5 Psions, -5 Quintessences, +4 Aether Pendulums, +2/3 Lobotomizers, +4/3 Dimensional Shields, so that it can lobotomize those pesky momentum creatures and actually have some defense. :)

False Gods have a 3x mark. When I tested this, it was actually shorter on :aether than it was on :light.
