I didn't feel like Akebono did a good enough job using Overdrives to their full potential. However, I avoided using too much earth/gravity to avoid having this feel like Obliterator/Akebono 2.0. From my testing, it's fairly tough to beat but by no means insurmountable. Thematically, this deck is based around the idea of a meteor-like being plummeting through the atmosphere. Feedback is appreciated.

So...The strategy here is play towers, get out as many light dragons / arch angels as you can, play chimera, then play an overdrive on said chimera?

Or did I miss something?

You miss something, you play dragons/archangels, you overdrive them and use the heal power of archangles. Then if it is a shield play Chimera to finish the game.
You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy.

...Wow.

I like this. Very much so.

I can't really find a fault in it except that 1. I don't know if the AI would be smart enough to play it right, and 2. Quanta/Creature Control can screw it up.

Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

I honestly thought about it, but if it is stolen it provides a soft counter to this deck because the AI will keep healing the OD'd creatures.

I would just remove the dragons.
Maybe add Sanctuaries to the deck to protect your quanta/hand. And it's ok if it's stolen. Also, a momentum or two could be usefull, if not, a single Chimera wouldn't be enough to kill an unupped mono aether imo.

My original build had Sanctuaries and no Dragons, but it had consistency issues.

While a single Chimera periodically won't kill mono aether, I'm not too worried about that because it already beats the common godkillers fairly regularly. Also, Aether needs a decent draw to get the shield chain going before it takes too much damage, as the chimera comes out at 75+ damage on average in my testing.

id recommend you take out the gravity forces, in my experience, the AI is absolutely horrible with them, and it would further differentiate him from the other gravy FGs

Unfortunately, that is the only CC available to the two elements, minus Oty. Hyperion has some problems if he doesn't have any form of CC.

EDIT: Thematically, Grav Force works nicely too!

true, and with a lack of momentum or other CC he probably wont have as many AI issues as the other FGs

Looks like it has an overproduction of :light; I think - 3-5 light towers + that many grav are better  for draw chance.
It is the greatest mystery of all...
