hearing deep and heavy breathing coming from inside...

STRATEGY:
Deceivingly simple, this beast plows through most decks with ease. Utilizing multiple Air - Entropy synergies, Wyvern is not to be taken lightly. The rush factor combined with quanta disruption leaves rainbows too slow to setup, and Mono or Duo decks a lovely target for Discord.

The AI6 plays this deck quite effectively although it does sometimes tend to use Chaos Power on the Damselflies, easily getting them up to 10|10 by turn 2, which although scary, is not the most effective use of Chaos Power.

When used correctly however...

Effective against Wyvern:
Lobotomizer, Thunderstorm, Dusk Mantle, Bone Wall, Basilisk Blood, Antimatter, Rain of Fire, Gravity Shield, Thorn Carapace, Miracle, Reverse Time, Freeze

Yep yep. Did some playing with CCYB, RoL/Hope, Eternal Chaos and some other stuff. Not even a timebow has much of a chance. Not a fun FG, sorry.

Aww shucks. Hah, well there's always room for improvement and I'd rather go from making an impossibly hard FG to making a decently challenging one.

Agreed, it's more optimal to go down the nerf road when balancing.

Wyvern just looked so much like Winds of Change (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17333) that I had to kick it's butt.   Turns out that Wyvern has two modes: unbeatable asskicker (when he drops a 2nd turn Discord and plays a Wyrm before he drops all of his Chaos Powers), and only very fast rush deck (when he drops 2nd turn Chaos Powers on a Damselfly and pumps it up so much that it becomes his preferred target even after he's dropped a Wyrm.)   Basic RoL/Hope is pretty good at beating him in that second circumstance, which seems to happen in about 50% of games.
