God of fire, metallurgy, etc. Given this, the name Hephaestus would either go to a flying fahren deck or a steamie deck like the one above.
I made the deck with 2 things in mind. Firstly, there is no deck based on steam machines despite them having a significant upgrade. Secondly, there is no water-marked false god. While there are gods that use water, all of them have a different mark (Scorpio has death, Elidnis has life, Neptune has air, Jezebel has darkness).
This deck is a hardcounter to RoL hope, rushes, basically any deck which uses creatures as a main source of damage. This is V2 of the deck, V1 had a few mods, like inundations, as well as no explosion. In my testing, inundation was NEVER played, mainly due to most FG farmers using little to no creatures.
In V2, I added explosions as a small check to a couple things. I didn't add more than 1 because it would make this deck near unbeatable. Considering the ai, it would deflag the hourglasses in LS, and given enough time, would deflag pends in PDials. That being said, both of the aforementioned decks are as good as hardcounters, if requiring a bit of smart play to avoid the deflags. Voodoo Bravery was also tested, but the sheer stallbreaking potential of this deck makes it tough for the voodoo to last long, and for TU to have that much a benefit. While the steamies are also TU'able, the ai often RE's the steamies. so you would end up with 3hp steamies that the opponent can easily kill. It is a tough matchup but it is very possible to win.
This deck may not seem incredibly strong, but as CIA cards are added to Cygnia, the chances that a creature based FG counter get increasingly higher. This provides a check to decks like those which are almost untouchable by many other FGs (hence why RoL Hope is successful).
