If this was your game to change around, that would be fine. But it's not, so the way FG decks are made isn't going to change. Like I said, Paradox is the exception.
The "CC kills whole deck"-argument is a convincing one, but seen in the complex of FGs this would still make a nice addition as far as most actual Anti-FG decks have very little CC.
Actually, almost every deck has some sort of CC, usually Otyughs or something else. The only one I know of that doesn't is CC Why Bother, and that has Lava Destroyers which will easily grow over Hope and Pulverizers to destroy Feral Bonds.
@12-card rule: Eternity´s Eggs are not more than 12? Divine Glory uses 16 Glories as far as i know and Octane´s Unstables should rather not be much less either... not really a consequent rule so.
If by Eternity you mean Destiny, Destiny has 12 Fate Eggs. Divine Glory has 12 Morning Glories and Octane has 12 Unstable Gases.
