I made this deck a while ago for someone else, and decided to turn it into an FG.

Suggestions are welcome, but I'd like to keep this a non-rainbow FG based around Steel Golem if at all possible.

Concerns:

Is this FG too close to Hermes?

This FG has enough quanta to run Fahrenheit instead of one Lava Destroyer, but that leaves him vulnerable to PC. What do you think?

This FG will probably only have one or two Towers at most in the opening hand, which may well not be enough.

Name suggestions are welcomed.

I thin only mark is a bit less to power

I'm not good with quanta-balancing FGs, so I ripped off the numbers from how Eternal Phoenix runs 2xThunderbolt and 6xFractal from 3xMark of Aether. (56 quanta)

This deck runs 6xExplosion, 6xLava Destroyer, and 12xRage Elixir, but unlike Eternal Phoenix who tries to throw out Fractals as fast as possible, the main part of this deck's quanta usage is in control cards, so Kiln can afford to have slower production. (78 quanta)

I'll double-check.

I just kinda stumbled in here, not normally my thing but I liked the name.


I would make the following changes:

2 Rage Elixers for 2 Fire Nymphs
1 Explosion for 1 Fire Shield
1 Explosion for 1 Fire Storm
1 Quicksand for 1 Gavel
2 Quicksand for 2 Protect Artifact



I think this would be a more exciting FG. Ok, lol. Thanks.

With your proposed fire changes, the mark wouldn't be sufficient to power the quanta anymore. You'd also have to tweak the quanta production a bit.

Change Steel golems for Basilisk Bloods for moar control  8)

-2 quicksand, +2 fire towers might work in balancing the fire quanta.
