Suggestion for a rule change:

Quote

Battle happens on Day 1: Winner spends 2 Action Points during that same round
Battle happens on Day 2: Winner spends 4 Action Points during that same round
Basically it comes down to this. If you fight your PvP battle on the first day, you spend 2 AP immediately and can use another 2 AP that day. You would also be able to use 4 AP the second day.

Fighting your match on the second day means you cannot spend the left over 2 AP from the first day (since you're locked in battle still) and you would instantly use your 4 AP the second day by completing your PvP Match. This is a 6 AP disadvantage for the winner!

There are quite a few people in WoE at this moment who I would rather not attack. Not because I don't think they deserve being attacked or because I'm afraid I might lose the match but because of their inactivity!
Because of their inactivity I am afraid that charging them will have one of these two results as an outcome:
- I cannot contact the inactive player on Day 1 but he magically appears online on Day 2 and we fight or match. (I indirectly lose 6 AP, happened to TNG last 2 days)
- I cannot reach him at all but win the match cause I was clearly more active. (I indirectly lose 6 AP AND don't get a salvage)

Conclusion:
6 AP is alot (1,5 day)! I don't wanna lose that because some other player doesn't bother to log on, let alone not being able to salvage anything. Since so many players are quite inactive I am worried that this situation will occur more and more often and will eventually result in inactive players being charged less often then active ones. This is wrong imo, normally I'd rather like to charge a weak player instead of a strong active one...

Discuss!

I think you either misunderstood the system or your math is off.

Battle happens on Day 1: Winner spends 2 AP's right after the fight (other 2 AP's is considered to be the battle)
Battle happens on Day 2: Winner spends 4 AP's right after the fight (battle is basically all 4AP's from the first round of battle)

So the winner loses either 2 AP's or 4 AP's.

Battle happens on Day 2: Winner spends 4 AP's right after the fight (battle is basically all 4AP's from the first round of battle)

So the winner loses either 2 AP's or 4 AP's.
Ok so there are two situations:

Battle happens on Day 1: Winner spends 2 AP --- Total cost = 2 AP and the winner has 2 AP left to use (like what happened to me previous round)
Battle happens on Day 2: Winner spends 4 AP but also loses the potential 2 AP he could have used when he won the battle the first day --- Total cost = 8 AP

In situation one, you lose half a day fighting (2 out of 4 AP of that day)
In situation two, you lose an entire day not being able to play your match (= 4AP lost by doing nothing in day 1) and you lose another 4 AP winning your match on day 2....

I see where the confusion came from:

I thought the winner from Day spend his AP from day 2 (4 AP)
But he spends all Action Points from the first day instead.

So after winning your match on day you can use another 4 AP that day. My bad! Still I think the rules are unclear at that point.
This line is important:

Battle is basically all 4 AP's from the first round of battle

I think you are looking this the wrong way. There's really no need to think about the source of the AP's, all the player needs to know is now many AP's he or she may use in both situations.

Here's the table I posted in the Day topics.

DAY 1DAY 2
Battle happensLoser goes to Spirit World
Winner spends 2 Action Points during that same Day
Loser goes to Spirit World
Winner spends 4 Action Points during that same Day
Battle doesn't happenPlayers stay locked in battle and try again during the next dayBattle is canceled.

If one player was more active in trying to find a suitable time, that player is the winner. Winner gets normal XP but no salvage. Loser is sent to Spirit World but does not have to discard.

If both players were equally inactive, a draw is declared. Nothing happens and the event goes forward.
I don't know how to say that any more clearly, but if someone has ideas on how to make it better, let me know.

The current wording does kind of sound like those 2 or 4 AP are the AP that are spent and lost due to battle.
You could add something like "may still" to clarify the meaning.
So "Winner may still spend 4 Action Points during that same Day" or a similar rewording.

It was brought up in chat that Miracle is a common card and part of :light's starting deck. This seems odd to me. I think it should at least be uncommon, if not rare. Also, starting deck? Seems OP.

Just like any other element they have an uncommon shield (Hope), uncommon creature (Pegasus) and rare weapon (Morning Star).
Arctic Squids, Miracles and Pharaohs aren't rare and I don't think they should be.

:light has a strong starting deck but Miracle is not more overpowered in this environment then Earthquake is imo.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
