K we don't have any official rules for Battle Experience So I've gathered these from previos articles. Its seems better than the rudimententary 2-3xp.
Does this work?

ActionXP gainedRep gained (Your Element)
Kill a lower level player20
Kill a player of same level31
Kill a higher level player42
You also gain 1 rep in every element at war with the slain. (They like that you slaughter their enemies)
You lose 2 rep in the slains element. (they don't like you killing their children)

NOTE  - Only the winner of a duel uses this table. No-one cares about losers and their XP and Rep is unmodified by the duel.

A slightly more complex deckbuilding bonuses table
Cards of your Element  (Number of elements present for Underworld)XPYour RepAlly Rep
100% (13 Elements)134
75% -> 100% (10-12 Elements)123
50% -> 75% (7-9 Elements)12
25% -> 50% (4-6 Elements)01
0% -> 25% (1-3 Elements)-10
- Other Cards count as an element
- If you have the percentage of cards in an element other than your own you may gain the ally rep.
- Marks and Cards added to a deck via skills do not count for or against construction values. (This prevents me ruining your rep or you failing to gain rep because of your own skills.)

I remember supporting the above table due to its simplicity, but then I realized how the second table is much more applicable to all of the elements (Underworld included), even though it might be prone to some player error if they can't calculate their decks correctly/don't know how the rep system works. Mind if I give you an example to sort of figure the table out?

Suppose the following situations:

Time Elemental wins against an enemy player with the following decks:

-80% Time cards, 20% Other (Quantum pillars, shield, long sword, etc.)
-60% Time cards, 25% Gravity, 15% Light
-25% Time cards, 25% Gravity, 25% Light, 25% Entropy
-0% Time cards, 100% Other

How would the rep gains (and experience bonuses) would be represented for each of these deck archetypes? :)

There are other factors, the opponents level compared to yours, Who is at war with the enemy, and the enemies element.
If we just take into the deckbuilding component. we have.

1. +1XP, +2 :time Rep
2. +1 :time Rep, +1 :gravity Rep
3. +1 :gravity Rep, +1 :light Rep, +1 :entropy Rep, +1 :underworld Rep
4. -1 :time Rep (Seriously what is this deck, Just Quantum pillars, shield, long sword, etc?)

It comes up that my offering is too complex and complex means user error.

So how do we link user actions to the reputation they hold with other faction?
And how do we make it plausible to play anything other than a mono-deck?

I can if it would make things easier, create a battle report tool where the winner puts in the details of the match and it outputs the modifers you gained if that would help.

We had some discussion about this in chat.
- Complex is ok if automated.
- Rep needs to be as down as it is up.

I will do some work and create a forumal for the change of rep in combat based situations.
If accepted I can make a tool that will take your deck and opponents details and spit out a rep result that timer can script to add to the player sheet. Thus no human error.
