There's not too many changes. (sorry for not having images, it would have been huge lol)

(All the starter decks come with a weapon that is used to craft their element's weapon.)

 Lobotomizer = Short Sword + Quintessence + Mind Flayer
 Owl's Eye = Short Bow + Unstable Gas + Flying Weapon
 Vampire Stiletto = Dagger + Liquid Shadow + Drain Life
 Arsenic = Dagger + Aflatoxin + Poison
 Pulverizer = Hammer + Basilisk Blood + Acceleration
 Discord = Short Sword + Antimatter + Nova
 Fahrenheit = Short Sword + Rage Potion + Fire Bolt
 Titan = Hammer + Black Hole + Momentum
 Druidic Staff = Hammer + Adrenaline + Heal

I personally think the breeding is the only crafting section that could be improved. My view on rares is that they should all be a very useful creature (in most cases) from their respective element. If this means it doesn't have a Duo Ability, so be it. But, I do still think they should all have an ability which can require a duo element card to create. I think I'd look for something like this

Aether: Fractal would make sense here, Aether has so few creatures to start off with. I could see this being acceptable. Spark + Mitosis
Air: Definitely FFQ. Firefly + Rustler
Darkness: While Gargoyle would fit here, Devourer is a good choice. Parisite + Antlion
Death: I think Mummy would be good here. It's a basic card, yet it's useful enough to be Rare. Anubis + Flesh Spider
Earth: Definitly Graboid. Shrieker + Fate Egg
Entropy: I think I like Maxwells here. Abomination + Scarab (I guess this sortof makes sense...)
Fire: While Phoenix would make the most sense I think, Lava Golem is just fine. Fire Spirit + Hematite Golem
Gravity: Otyugh would probably be the most useful Gravity Creature, but keeping it Graviton Firemaster works for now. Graviton Mercenary + Ash Eater
Life: Well this one is hard. All you really got is Spirit or Scorpion. Let's stick with Forest Spirit. Cockatrice + Blue Crawler
Light: While Pegasus would work, I think Crusader is a better choice. Pegasus + Iridium Warden (Noble steed ftw?)
Time: I really thing Ghost of the Past is the best choice here. Deja Vu + Gargoyle
Water: While Toadfish would be another choice, Steam Machine is good here: Blue Crawler + Fire Spirit

Thanks, majofa. But could you do me a favor and bold the ones you that have changed from the original? Makes it 10 times easier to see and make changes.

The problem is that "useful creature" might change if Zanz decides to buff/nerf something. Sundial was very useful at some point. Currently, not so much.

When we use duo ability, so that combining :fire and :water, creates a new creature that basically consists of :fire and :water, that's a much more permanent (probably won't get buffed/nerfed) solution than going with "usefulness" alone. Plus it makes more sense theme wise.

This is one of those situations where there is no perfect solution.
