Post feedback about battles. For example how the duels are organized, deckbuilding, discarding and salvaging, etc.

Rules might need some clarification, like:

Changing decks between matches is not allowed (unless :entropy shapeshifter skill)
What to do when someone uses and illegal deck

That Zblader vs. Kael Hate battle could be highlighting a potential problem with the power of the Diversion skill relative to other Tier 1 skills.  Once you see your opponents deck once in a Battle Result it becomes too easy to simply cripple them in battles, especially early in the game when the card options and deck flexibility for players is very limited.

I was just reading the battle part of the rules, just for fun, when you ran into the following rule:

Quote from: World of Elements
IMPORTANT: If you have a skill that somehow affects the deckbuilding of your opponent, you are responsible for letting your opponent know about this at least 12 hours in advance. If you do not inform your opponent about your skills in time, those skills will not be included in that battle.
Even though I can see the reasoning behind this rule, it might cause trouble when only having 48 hours for each round.
For example: I send a pm to Bill, telling him I am champion of water, and telling him I'm available 3 to 8 hours from now and 27 to 32 hours from now.
Bill answers (directly) saying me that he is able to fight in 7 to 10 hours from now and in 33 to 35 hours from now. Of course we will than schedule the match between 7 and 8 hours from now, but that means he can claim I hadn't informed him in time.
This could lead to people disrupting the battle because the person with the skill wants to have it done quick, while the person without wants to drag the match until after those 12 hours have passed, which could easily result in matches simply not happening.

Problem is, I can see that you will have to inform you opponent about your skills, and in time, so he can react to it, but on the other hand, it can cause problems with scheduling the matches if there is a set time. I can't see a way to fix this though, because just saying something like: "it is your duty to inform you opponent about any deck affecting skills beforehand" will lead to people waiting until one hour before the deadline, when they are both online, then telling the specific deckbuilding rules, and watching your opponent build decks in 30 minutes, to play the match in the other 30 minutes.

You could change it to "as soon as possible", or something about your first PM to them...

Point is, as soon as possible leaves it too free, meaning people can send it one hour before the deadline.

There should be an "if" action, for example i am on the same square as TStar and if i wanted to battle him it would be more up to chance than not that i would battle him as he could move away. Now thats when the "if" comes in. The "if" is something that i would do if there are the right conditions. For example my "if" would be if TStar moves away in any direction and i can reach him with one action point i will move to that hex and battle him. Of course this would require some extra work and wouldnt need to be implemented in alpha.

So really it would look something like this in the action sheet.

Battle Action:
Attack*

Battle Action Target:
TStar

"If" Action:
Move to battle TStar if within one hex.

That already exists.  Charge means you will follow a player up to 1 hex away to attack them.  Aggressive Charge means you will follow up to 2 hexes away to attack them.

And why are you picking on me?  What did I ever do to you? :(

I added this rule a while back.

It might be overpowered but I'm not fully convinced after only one match. Lets have a couple more and see what happens. Nova is clearly the #1 problem here, as banning it seriously limits your Rainbow options.

If Diversion turns out to be OP, we can always move it to Tier 2.

In your example, Bill accepts the earlier time, therefore the 12 rule is discarded. Bill has the option to refuse fighting in 7 or 8 hours, but that will lead to the battle being moved to next round. This will be a disadvantage to you both, so Bill will most likely accept.

There is no perfect solution but I think the 12 hour rule works pretty well.

You could change it to "as soon as possible", or something about your first PM to them...
Yep. There has to be specific rules for this situation. Otherwise it's going to be Drama City.

Big necro here, but...

Is there any chance of some sort of substitute system being added? It would be a great help to people with conflicting time zones, and relatively simple at that.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.
