That's great. The new sheet works, except i couldn't figure out how to add completed quests (i just edited the completed quest counter).
That is exactly what you shouldn't do. :) It's not a big deal because it can be fixed, but for future reference, here are the two basic rules:

Rule #1: Only edit cells that have a dark-grey background
Rule #2: Never edit cells that do not have a dark-grey background

The problem with editing those other cells is that they generally contain a formula, and when you add your own numbers/text in it, you break that formula, therefore breaking the whole character sheet. If that happens, you need to contact an organizer who will fix it for you. Like I've said, it's not the end of the world is that happens, so nobody should be scared of making changes to their character sheet.

Here's how you complete a quest:

1. Click and select the first free dark-gray cell on the left (under Quests)
2. Choose a quest from the drop down menu (menu opens from that small arrow thing)
3. Click the "Complete" button on the right
4. Enter the number of the quest you want to complete (it's on the left side of the quest name)
5. Quest will disappear from the list and your "Completed Quests" number gets updated accordingly

Do you have anything installed that prevents scripts from running, or are you using a computer that is behind a firewall?

The button(s) should be on the right side of the quest thing. I just confirmed that they are there and working.

Not sure what you mean.. but no worries. That "Competed Quests" cell is actually the only auto-updating cell that didn't have a formula on it, so just continue business as usual.

I redid the Action list.

https://spreadsheets0.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0AgB8fZX7y8kydHBtU0RNOC1yeFk2cTRIRzhCaDFyekE&single=true&gid=32&output=html

That updated list has all the available actions that we currently have, unless I missed some of them. It's still work in progress so feel free to post feedback. Thanks.

Using that actions list I managed set up the update form so it can hook up to the individual character sheets and decide which actions can be performed.

For example, Napalm is updating her actions. She has phoenix rider as one of her skills. In the drop-down list of actions to choose from, Phoenix Rider will be in that list. But if she didn't have phoenix rider, and had, say, Iron Bird Pilot instead, then Iron Bird Pilot would show up instead of phoenix rider.

This works for whatever skill-based actions you see in the list found in SG's post above. At the moment it doesn't really work, because I don't have it set up for anything since I don't have the spreadsheet keys. But once the real event goes live, it will be all hooked up.

EDIT:
Added submit button.
Added more support for skill-based actions.

Major issue I kind of wondered about in regards to the Inventory system; does 'discarding an item' count as an action? And if so, shouldn't it be on that list? ^^; (I imagine that discarding items would be rare, but necessary in the case of people trying to hoard more items than they can afford to have, so...)

I believe that was what the old "bank" was for, but I'm not sure what happened to it since then.

No action required. Just delete an item an you are all set.

Bank was supposed to be a secondary "bag" that instead of you carrying it around, stays in a bank in a city, so that every time you visit a city, you can visit your "secondary bag". A common mechanic used in many MMO's.

I discarded the idea though because it added extra level of complexity without any real gain.

Then again players who like trading, might like something like this.

Well, the usefullness of a bank also depends on the different skills: if there are lots of way's to lose your electrums (like the salvage X% of a defeated players electrum) and items (like the stealing ability from underworld) a bank can be usefull to stuff stuff you don't want to lose, otherwise you can simply increase inventory space. On the other side, having everybody constantly pack their stuff in their bank means there won't be any use for these skills, but, this is just one of those things alpha is for.

Yep, you are right. I'm not sure about what to do with this thing.

If we have skills (or basic mechanics) that take a percentage of cash, then everyone just spends all the cash in cards, which would be lame. Then again, like you said, if we have a bank, everyone keeps everything there. It's a tricky situation.
