Fractal chargers are not that good when unupped. Also, its pestal (although, some use devtal, anyways, I dont) and nope, its not very effective for bronze / silver.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing devtal tested in silver. No point for it in bronze most likely, but I could see it doing well in silver if for no other reason than decks submitted to silver rarely seem to account for heavy denial, and EM'ing silver unupped is a pretty decent way to make money.

Also, you dont have to test unupped frac-chargers. Its 4/5 and costs 5. Its 5 cost is already hard for fractal. And lets say you did get lotsa quanta, you hit 4 for 5

Its too slow for the damage when unupped.

Pestal is pretty much great in gold/platinum, both of which have rainbows and dex. IIRC, it is the top rareless deck by net profit in both leagues, and IIRC it is the top rareless deck by win rate in both leagues as well (which is confirmed for gold in the OP here, but I can't confirm for platinum (or confirm the net profit totals) without my stats spreadsheets in front of me). I said pestal would be a waste in silver because if you've got a fully upped deck like that, there's much better options for silver, and if you want to play pestal, I'm basically certain it's going to be a lot more profitable in a higher league.

Devtal's slower than pestal, but silver's also slower than gold/plat - only a small handful of silver decks run upped pends and towers. Also, unupped, you only need to hit ~50% win rate in silver (without factoring in EM rate) to be quite profitable relative to most other unupped targets. If you add in a high EM rate, the required win rate drops further. No idea really if devtal would hit that high of a win rate, but I'd be interested to find out.

Do you think that if I bought a New Old Times to use when the meta in plat shifts against PDial would be efficient?
Basically I'm needing something that suffers the exact opposite of PDial for the meta shifts.

After reading your question I tried Plat with my New Old Times mod, & the results were nice. The hard part is getting the combo out. Bonus about my mod: it uses 6 unupped cards by choice, so it's cheap (I disagree with Electrocutor over Mind Flayer, I found early game aether contention tedious and Mind Flayers let me beat Neptune)

wrt to meta shifts: New Old Times is a stall breaker, PDials is a rush breaker. Their weaknesses are the inverse (New Old Times because it dies before setup, PDials because it's damage is too slow) so your hypothesis that New Old Times is good when PDials is bad is true. They both die to Firestall

I'm short 1 SoFo so I only have 3 in there. Basically, the only real tweaks are to add 2 gravity forces and 2 hourglasses.
The hourglasses can help deal with bad draws and rewinders (which i've been seeing a lot of lately).
The gp is mainly to put onto the SoFo for sustained PC and shield effects, but it can also be helpful if you need to deal with an enemy thats too large to chew.
So far this seems to be the most fun deck to play I've tried so far, but I'm still building up upgrades to try out some of the 'bows.

For gold and plat, I've been finding a slightly modified swallow seems to be working pretty well. I added in a couple grav salvagers and swaped out 2 grav towers with 2 grav pillars and added 2 unupped grav pendulums.
This gives it very good resistance to earthquakes and PC since the salvagers will always return one lost pillar / pend / tower.
When facing an EQ heavy deck, it works well to keep 1 of each in play rather than stacking high.

OK, last hijack post here from me, I promise.  (Hopefully many who read this have now learned of the "Notify" button.)

The notify button sets up sending topic replies on a thread to your email address.  It will not make that thread show up in the "Show new replies to your posts" area (it will still show up in the "Show unread posts since last visit" area).  Basically, consider if all of the unique visitors of the 24,000+ on the Arena stats thread that wanted 'perfectly' kept in the loop but had nothing substantive to add as a reply and did the "posting just to follow" thing.  The thread would be a MESS!

This is my modified version of the Silver Bone Collector. I'm not done upgrading it but I noticed I was winning so much more, I might as well start recording it's win rate.

I took out the growth monsters and made it more focused on Fallen Druid improving the Deja Vu. The plate armor seemed dumb but it comes in handy all the time. Think of it as a cheap Quintessence.

Currently 45-7. Including the 1hp wins, this deck got me an 86.5% win rate. Some of the wins were through using early steals and deflags to starve opponents. Win rate could be worse without good prediction.

TBH I don't think I'll ever upgrade the Mind Flayer. The higher cost doesn't seem worth it. I've encountered an large amount of matches where the supernova giving me 2 water quanta was barely enough to play it just in time for their ability monster.

Mind flayer usually isn't upped because of it's upped quanta cost from 2 to 3 when you only use it for the skill.
