This deck won 5 times because of Steal (3 times stealing Phase Shields, 1 time stealing Fire Shield, 1 time stealing Farenheit)

Modified deck from Essence. I call it RoLmare or maybe Lightmare

IMO, with regards to naming, just call it Day Traitors (modded by Optimalist). It's almost identical (-1 AW, -1 NM, +1 steal), and that's pretty much the naming convention used in this thread.

nearly-upped pestal stats for plat:

loss:34
win/loss = 32%
em: 7/16=43%

Dry spells and early creature/discords hurt. I'm thinking this is better off in gold.

its simple, tends to EM almost always, and loses to exactly what youd think it would.  you either lock them down or you dont.

if no obvious improvements happen, will add some stats and game results.

-update-  i believe adding another vampire is the correct move. SPOILER for that testing data

OPPONENT NAME     RANK/RECORD/HP    FIRST/RESULT/TURNS DECK TYPE               WHAT HAPPENED

xyphosure         138/4-1/198       Y- LOSS 7          cremation golem          several golems growing, cant lockdown cremation

caiuu(nn?)        215/0-0/165       N- LOSS 11         entropy nova             pests eating 20 quantum, but nova doesnt care. probably overcommited to pest, didnt have enough vampire to stabilize

mway              76/48-7/136       N- LOSS 5          poison w/recluse         too fast

Brusterix         55/45-6/134       Y- LOSS 7          mono aether no shard     random silences usually not a problem, but were this game

Riverwolf         81/37-5/124       N- WIN 14          mono aether shard        close game, down to 2 life. managed to keep AI under 13 quantum, survived a phase shield

Faillace          447/52-12/1       Y- LOSS 8          supernova rainbow        booo  discord on his side wouldnt even help me. bone wall sealed the deal

i_love_bayesian   239/0-0/180       Y- LOSS 8          mono air                 no vampire

presspl4y         88/7-0/191        Y- LOSS Q          discord supernova        no point

Qohelet           233/0-0/180       Y- WIN 17          aether nymph w/phys      no dim shield, nymphs quinting stuff that didnt need it. thought fractal was going to troll me but got one in time

justaburd         310/15-3/196      N- LOSS 5          mono water               6 tower into big stuff. got slapped

Schnuffine        325/2-1/123       Y- LOSS 11         ghostmare                big tower opening + rewind

Kangjian37        90/15-1/163       Y- EMWIN 18        supernova rainbow        it did nothing...  1 grow creature and a discord. who cares i win!

po8605            396/4-2/168       Y- LOSS 8          supernova rainbow        it did something.  also, fog shield haxxorz

I.I               356/46-9/168      Y- LOSS Q          quantum warden           i probably overplayed my pests. becomes difficult when you need them out of your hand so your fractals are more explosive. long game quit

takezoido         415/16-4/181      Y- WIN 12          freedom no pillar        all the free creatures w/ air shard.  close game

moehrpi           369/6-2/193       Y- LOSS 8          mono death               no vampire, bone wall anyways

xyphosure         259/6-1/198       Y- WIN 14          cremation golem          rematch! yugi-oh'd a vampire to fractal with 2 health left :D

Ruahka            346/55-11/136     Y- WIN 12          mono aether w/shard      won poseidon! tanked one dragon and weapon and survived a phase shield

manaboy100        325/2-1/200       Y- LOSS 17         mono aether psion        AI managed to keep spamming pillars. should have gotten junked up with dragons, shards, and lobos...but didnt. it just kept drawing pillars

lim-dul           189/2-0/195       Y- LOSS Q          discord gravity          bad matchup

SamuraiZacho      225/27-4/187      N- WIN 22          mono darkness            dusk mantle stopping 8/10 attacks several times.  game took so long, AI almost make a comeback. i swear it works 66% for AI and 33% for players

ArcanisX          428/2-2/143       N- WIN 10          water poison             won farhenheit! another "draw as last card or lose" vampire game

tweeder           205/10-2/173      Y- EMWIN 13        mono darkness            it played a couple void shards. i choked it with pests. ideal game

nager             236/0-0/200       Y- WIN 12          GOTP mitosis             only got one GOTP online before lockdown. probably had SoR too

stasiss           186/2-0/130       Y- LOSS 13         phoenix silence          frustrating. probably one of the fastest lockdowns ive ever done, wasted because vampire hiding in bottom 12 cards. considering adding another

asymmetry         27/45-5/123       N- LOSS 7          water poison             perfect game for them, not for me

omegareaper       226/23-3/192      Y- WIN 13          earth gravity            flying pulvy, chargers, etc.  stabilized and won

paloflimdul       439/3-2/153       N- LOSS 7          quantum supernova        impossible to stop

Zso_Zso           111/33-4/192      Y- EMWIN 13        air w/ fire mark         pulled 3 fractals in the first 15 cards, managed to get vampire spam the turn i needed it
.  overall the deck is testing at 11-18.  nothing that blows you away, but games are crazy fast.  certainly getting the hang of how to manage the correct fractal target and pest/vampire ratio.  the record is 3-11 for the first 14 games and 9-6 for the last 15 games.  decent enough sample of what it can beat and not beat

Zombie0 gives 110 percent whenever he's in the arena. He's a team player who delivers both offensively and defensively. He has no idea what a Quantum is.

pestal taking a beating lately, due to faster and more quantum robust decks.  check out the leaderboard, top decks have 95-98% winning rates  :o

heres the current deck im using.  i feel it may have an improvement or two possible through tweaking, but it does a good job and keeps the wins going.  not so successful at the EM wins, but more wins overall and better chances against all decks

heres a really powerful deck vs plat for wins, but usually not EM.  i thought SoR pharaoh scarab spam was dead after the shard nerf (like the golden decks) yet it seems well positioned against plat currently.  check it out :)  it abuses a somewhat big weakness of the AI to CC correctly and plat seems to be slow enough in general for it to keep up

Zombie0 gives 110 percent whenever he's in the arena. He's a team player who delivers both offensively and defensively. He has no idea what a Quantum is.

Just gonna throw this out there, as I've seen a lot of testing going on that isn't making it into the official records, and I really want it to make it into the official records:

The minimum information required to make it into the OP is currently minimum 50 games played (more is greatly preferable, though), with win/loss recorded. It is extremely helpful (though not required (though IMO it should be)) to additionally record TTW (average turns to win - does not include amount of turns taken for lost games) and EM rate (as expressed by ((# of EMs) / (# of wins))).

Note that you aren't required to do all 50 games in one sitting or anything of the sort.

Like I said, just throwing that out there in the hopes that more of the people running tests will do it in ways that will make it into the official records.

edit: With all that being said, I'd personally rather have incomplete stats than no stats if there's something preventing anyone from running the tests according to the accepted standards, so please none of you stop posting or anything. Just wanted to mention the criteria for inclusion in the study in case some people didn't know.

lately this thread goes weeks without any input, so lets not pretend that its hurting anyone to see a post or two a month

if you try to see what people successfully use against arena, you get a LOT of "my deck works against silver/gold but not plat".  probably because unupped decks from potentially less experienced players with less AI bonuses are easier to beat?  whoda thunk it...

i try to add some robust stats and game recaps so its at least mildly entertaining and informative.  people seem to think saying "35-20 vs gold" is an actual stat.  what does it win against?  lose against?  EM?  how fast?  are some losses obvious skips or do you have to play it out?  and honestly even TTW is misleading, TIME to win probably much more important

if some of the players who beat their heads against plat all the time can be generous enough to share their secrets (even if one is so egomaniacal to believe that hundreds of people stack their AI decks against your personal farming deck  ::)) about what currently works, THAT seems like the best use of this thread.  creating some kind of deck archive seems against the usefulness of an active forum.  lets discuss whats currently working and compare.  arena changes so fast compared to FG.

theres nothing wrong with asking for more stats, its a nice way to minimize the "hey i just thought this deck up and its awesome in my head but its completely untested if it actually works".  that said, something that someone played 2-3 months ago for 50 games may not be that relevant anymore, even if its well documented
